“Overlooking the Train Station”

Very nice hotel that overlooks what will become the 2016 Olympic Village. Staff was cool but pleasant the room and bed were very nice. Oddly there is no food available at the hotel most of the time and there are very very few dining options in the area. It';s as though the hotel was built solely in anticipation of the Olympic games in four years!

stayed here during a business visit. The room is good, neat, spacious. But no free wifi, complementary mini bar means just water and coke. Could not feel anything great about it compared to other hotels i ahve stayed in Europe, especially for the money it is not really worth.
The location is good, near to many nice restaurents, railway station etc.
Staff is friendly and restaurent is good but not much choices. Breakfast is average.

I stayed here twice for a business trip and loved it. Great rooms, modern, nicely furnished, well equiped and clean.
Near the garibaldi station and metro.
Breakfast is good and tasty.
Two minus points:
- limited number of TV channels that are not Italian
- Expensive WiFi

BACKGROUND: After a 8 hour train delay, we arrived at the Garibaldi train station without euros, without knowing where in the world we were, without a working smart phone and without knowing any Italian...at 3am. We were supposed to get into Milan at 6pm, grab an Italian sim card for our iphone, jump on an exchange machine to change out our Franks to Euros and hop on a short train to our original hotel across the city.

Well, it was 2am when we arrived in Milan and all we wanted was a clean bed. We saw AC MILANO HOTEL on the top of a tall tall building and said "lets walk that way"

The concierge let us in the locked hotel and could not have been nicer. He spoke really fluent English and gave us a king size bedroom. Bed was comfortable...bathroom was so clean and spacious...it was PERFECT.

Breakfast was included in our room rate and it was delicious. Fresh croissants, home made granola and yogurt. The next day we had to get across the city and again, the concierge helped us immensely when they didn't have to.

As I write this, I am at the Starhotels Business Palace and am wishing I had stayed at the AC Hotel Milano...it is SOOOO MUCH BETTER.

Room Tip: If there was a rating of more than excellent, I would click it!

It is a nice hotel near to the Garibaldi train station. The hotel is clean, the service is good. There's almost everything you need in the room. But there's no kettle or refrigerator in the standard room. The wifi isn't free, it's 17 euro a day for a laptop or 9 euro a day for an iPad.
You can hear everything that's happening in the corridor or the neighboring room.
The breakfast is good, wide variety of corn flakes, fruit

Room Tip: You better come after 2pm because it takes some time for the staff to clean out the rooms

First, free minibar means water and soda. Don't take the scam packages. Rooms are nice and so is the staff. Nearby tram tracks closed. Ask where the bus is. A short walk gets you to a bus which gets to Lanza stop (Brera 5 mins) quickly vs going to Garibaldi station subway (not an attractive longer walk). Pretty sure that bus can get you pretty close to the Duomo too. Breakfast, pretty good, has wide variety, constantly refilled.

Location could not be more inconvenient! Views are terrible, rooms are not functional (beds on wheels, gulf ball soap, glass sink which gets stained after every hand wash, no conditioner). There are no toilets on the ground floor which contains the lobby, the coffee shop and bar and the conference room, which means you have to go up to the restaurant a floor above mid meeting! Only nice thing about the hotel is the friendly staff and the powerful blow dryer! Beware of the old irons, especially if you've got a white shirt to iron!!!! Never again, for the same price we moved to a downtown hotel which just made life so much simpler...
