Mind you we got to the hotel at about 1am, but on top of that out of the three hotel we stayed in, this was the only one that asked us to leave our passport with them overnight. I was not happy with that but in no mood to argue at that time. The next day we went to take a tour of the ac Milan and the juventus stadiums. Also, the second night as I was getting ready to go to bed my son looks up at the ceiling and the ceiling was infected with many flies. I called the front desk and they sent someone right away. He sprayed the room at about 10;30pm. Now we couldn't go to bed because of the smell, so I asked for another room but they said there were no available room. I was give a drink at the bar to wait for the smell to go away but that didn't happen. I couldn't sleep all night coughing and feeling uncomfortable with the smell and more flies. they claimed my room was the only room but they were well prepared for flies. They had spray and a machine to take out the smell. So I was not convinced!!

It would be a good 3s,but definitely not a 4!old fashion and although it's clean, it seems dusty. Service very nice. Regarding the location... I knew where it was, but as I came I thought I was at the end of the world! I wouldn't go out alone at the evening... But maybe it's suggestion :-) I think I will look for something else next time.

We went for a 4 day citytrip in March.
- The owners didn't know that in tourism and sales CLIENT IS KING !! They didn't gave us one smile, just handled everything cool and spoke poor English. They need to be educated on how to run a hotel!
- There are 7 small rooms. When he opened the door we were shoked. It smelled soooo bad! We still don't know what it was, we hope it was just bad cleening soap or something like that. It was clean though. Since they didn't clean our rooms during our stay the scent disappeared after 1 day. It was a shock though, we even found it hard breathing.
- The bathroom was really small and the showerhead sucked. We did manage to take a hot shower so I guess we can't complain much about that.
- Don't take a room with 4 cause the room will be packed with beds and nothing more! You won't be able to move! (We had a room for 2, also very small, but we saw the other rooms while they were cleaning them)
- It was very quiet in the hotel. We had a good night sleep. (maybe because there were barely other guests)
- They didn't even open the door, you had to call their number (super expensive form Belgium to Italy!!!) and then they looked mad cause we came in so "late" (23h)
- The area is awful. Dirty, poor, ghetto.. Nobody on the streets after 8. Not safe! However I don't blame the hostel since this is just because we had a totally different image of Milan. Who ever thinks it's going to be a magnificent city, please think twice. Except for the really small center of Milan the city is ugly and dirty. The metro connection is good though. 15mins to the city center.
- In Milan you can barely find restaurants or bars. Make sure you talk to locals !!! There are no cosy neighbourhoods. Maybe this is because we come from Belgium where we've got a load of nice restaurants, but we were REALLY dissappointed.
- My advise: choose another hostel, because this ain't worth €25 a night!!

Stay at this hotel for business purposes ONLY. I stayed here for 2 nights for work purposes however I have to say I was highly sceptical having to stay here due to the reviews.

This is a huge and dated hotel. There is nothing fancy or luxurious about this place. My bedroom was huge, old fashioned but clean. I found the bed to be exceptionaly uncomfortable and the heavy blinds that people use to open and close were so noisy that I was woken up early in the mornings.

The staff were ok..I would say breakfast was the best thing about my stay here.

Anyone wanting to stay here for vacation purposes STAY AWAY you would be hugley disappointed this is a hotel located for business purposes only which is just about passable.

After reading some of the reviews of this hotel I was slightly concerned and I must admit from the outside it could do with a lick of paint. However inside the hotel seems to have been recently redecorated. The room was very large and cleaned daily. The restuarant served wonderful food. Very close to the train station for a day out in Milan. I would recommend this hotel. Only issue was not tea/coffee facilities in room
