“Nothing to see”

Not sure why this is even listed as a place to visit. It's an office / apartment building. I used to work in one of the offices in this building. Nothing to see here.

“Just Old Ugly Architecture.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2012

It's one of the most famous building in Milan. Honestly I hate it, it's ugly and this year it has been elected as one of theugliest buildings in the world (finally).

“Ugly as sin but fascinating”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2012

Torre Velasca can't be accused of being pretty or elegant. It's a 300-odd-foot mushroom-shaped skyscraper (pretty tall by local standards), which was designed and built in the Fifties by a group of architects who were fascinated by the shape of medieval castles. Look at the lower half of the central tower of Castello Sforzesco and you'll see the resemblance. The Velasca tower is home to several high-caliber corporate offices and a few high-rent apartments, as it's a pretty desirable address -- if not necessarily a pretty building.

“An imposing tower”

Not much to see in this ugly tower that's supposed to be inspired by medieval Tuscan towers.
