We were looking for a hotel close to San Siro. We needed access to parking. After much deliberation we chose this hotel. Having stayed here I am surprised by the number of Excellent and Very Good reviews. On the plus side it is relatively easy to find from the Autostrada. The location is good and safe and we were lucky enough to find a parking space almost right outside.
It was close to San Siro ( 20 min walk) so again good. It was also very inexpensive for Milan ...so that is all positive. In fairness the room was fine, particularly as we only stayed one night. It was basic but functional. One of the things many reviewers have remarked on is the staff, well maybe it's just me but I found them to be as unfriendly as I have encountered in many travels in Italy. The coffee and minuscule piece of cake was OK. So all in all an OK stay. I might stay again if I was visiting the San Siro area but otherwise I wouldn't rush back.

As a traveling grad student trying to find somewhere clean and safe at a good price can be hard. I was really content with Hotel Edy. The staff is just amazing and really make you feel at home. On our way out in the morning they gave us coffee and cake before we left. They also held our bags for us all day at no cost. The area is a six minute walk to the metro stop and there are a few bars at night in the area. There was a shower in the room as well as a sink, while the toilet was shared but clean as well. Wifi was good enough to stream videos, etc. The price was very fair for the location. If I return to Milan, I would certainly stay here again!

We spend two nights at the Hotel Edy Milano. Nice place! We liked it very much.)
Location is very good: close to subway station Gambara (red line). The room was clean and comfortable. Wonderful coffee and cakes in the mornings). The staff were very friendly and helpful. And, of course, wonderful dog Pulchinello))))

Great location 5 minutes from subway in very safe neighborhood. Easy to get to the train station or into the center of Milan. Two supermarkets nearby. Budget hotel, so the room was small, but clean enough, and we had a private bathroom. Free cappuccino from the hotel desk. Very helpful and friendly 24-hr staff.
This is a very small hotel on the first floor of a building. No air conditioning, and sleeping with an open window on ground floor is not for everybody.
Milan is a bustling, exciting, safe city, and it is extremely easy to get around. This hotel is an inexpensive way to stay in a classy urban setting.

Room Tip: Some rooms have private bathrooms, some don't. Also, our room faced the little courtyard, so it...

I've stayed for two consecutive years at Edy now (2013 and 2014), and several times over this year's trip, so I've actually stayed in 4 of their rooms. The quality is just right, nothing less or more is desired. The staff rotates every-day so you will meet different people at different times of the day and week, all friendly and helpful. They all speak English to the best of their abilities, though some basic Italian will always help you.

The hotel is a five minute walk to Gambara M1 metro and is also close to De Angeli M1 metro. If you're staying over different dates, they help with storing your luggage. If youre not already out for breakfast, the coffee machine is at your disposal after 7am - and they always keep a fresh pie/cake/strudel to accompany, complimentary of course.

The room rates are very reasonable if you book in advance - shooting up drastically for the Milan Furniture fair though, but that is a Milan story in general. The beds are very comfortable and most rooms have those vintage Italian tall blind windows opening onto the street or the courtyard. I love these windows.

Great wi-fi connectivity in your room if you stay in the first few rooms. Down the corridor, the connection weakens a bit.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms to the front of the hotel, with windows opening onto the street. Better wi-fi and t...

I had spent 4 days in this hotel during my stay in milano, first i enjoyed the great hospitality and cooperation from the staff especially Mrs Nadia.
Second the hotel place is very good and near to down town and il doumo (15 min by metro) and near to san siro and in quite area.
And also with great price ,so i give it excellent if comparing with other hotels in the same category.
And i feel as if i am in my home with great free Wi Fi
