Dining options: Late Night, Reservations
Neighborhood: Navigli
Description: For aperitivo, dinner or after-dinner, enjoy your visit. Aperitivo: Rebelot del Pont offers all classic mixed drinks, as well as an exclusive selection of cocktails created by Oscar Quagliarini, one of best european mixologists and appearing in the list of Top World Bartenders. Wines: We prefer to serve wines from small winemakers, associated to a specific grape varietal. Side by side with the classic Italian varietals, like Nebbiolo, Aglianico, Sangiovese etc, we like to propose quality wines made with less-known autochthonous grapes: Rossese di Dolceacqua, Frappato, Fiano d'Avellino, Grillo, Vitovska, Erbaluce, Timorasso. Food: we propose two menus. Small plates menu: This menu option contains small plates, or small portions of our staple dishes, always available. You can choose "a la carte" the number of courses, or leave the choice to the chef, which would result to an advantageous price. This menu includes fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, which draft a journey of the senses, ideal for the pre-dinner, dinner or after dinner. Gastronomic menu: the menu is created daily by our Chef Mauricio Zillo, on the basis of the products available fresh on the market. You can choose the number of the courses, for a creative journey in our Mediterranean flavours and beyond. On our site you'll find all informations.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel owner at The Yard Hotel. We figured if he ate there regularly as a local then it must be worth a visit. We were looking for food with an Italian twist in a modern setting that was high quality food without being Michellin Star (or price tag) and that is exactly what we got.

The restaurant/bar is located on the canal so a lovely little setting and I imagine in summer it would be very busy. The restaurant interior was modern, simple and tastefully done. It was recommended that we sit at the chefs bar so we could watch them prepare the food. It did at the beginning feel like we were encroaching on the chefs workspace but once a few pleasantries were passed we felt at home. If you don't speak Italian don't expect them to speak much English. We did sit next to other locals who frequented the restaurant regularly and they talked us through the dishes in a bit more detail, which was great.

We went for the chefs selection of 5 tapas plates each so we had no say in what we received (other than dietary requirements). Every dish was exceptional and so different from the last. The chefs selection was priced between £18-£25 depending on how many plates you had. And the wine list was really great and not too expensive.

I had a five courses dinner, a climax of pleasant surprises topped by a very good wine. A nice and fresh twist on tapas food, with very good basic ingredients and unusual but well thought combinations.

The mood is also great for a friendly meeting (as in my case) but would work as well for a romantic night along the Navigli.

We came here to have dinner on a saturday evening but unfortunately no place was fre so we decided just to have a cocktail at the bar. The ambiente is quite cozy. We got our cocktails directly at the bar, so I can´t comment on the overall service. The cocktails were delicious and offer something new and fancy. You won´t find any of the standard cocktails on the menu. Cocktails are 9-10 Euros.

Each of the five dishes we tried in this small-plate restaurant offered a pleasing twist of unexpected.... something substantial offset by contrasting textures and by flavors with a thread of mystery. The quality of the dishes and well-composed menu might be found elsewhere in a stuffier setting, but at R del P the atmosphere is completely comfortable, casual and warm, and you can converse without having to shout over ambient noise. In addition to the wine list, there's selection of specialty cocktails, also prepared with interesting blends of unexpected flavors. The small plates work together for a complete meal or to accompany aperitifs. It's a place to return frequently as a local, or as a destination.

if you are looking for something small dishes but quality Italian dishes. if you like to try many different dishes in one day. then it is place to be. I love tapas bar/restaurant but i often disappointed by it's quality. but this one is the one you will need to taste.
I suggest you to seat by the open plan kitchen if you are in small group or two people. chef will explain the dishes even sometimes you will get some free dishes made in front of you. dishes from 10 to 14 euros and bottle wine starts from 30 euros.
