The location of this hotel could not be better. It is right at the main square of Milan.
The room was spacious and the decor was very nice. The staff was attentive and polite. We ordered room service, it was promptly presented and the food was wonderful as well!

Just came back from 3 nights at the Park Hyatt in Milan. This was our 4th trip to Italy in 5 years and our first time staying in Milan. The Park Hyatt is in a perfect location next to the Duomo and a very quick walk to the shopping district. Since we were away without the kids we loved the peace and quiet that this hotel provided. The service was great from the concierge who helped arrange tours, dinner reservations, train tickets and packed up our purchases to make it easy to take them home to the desk staff, restaurant staff and the masseuse who provided a massage.

Yes the hotel is extremely expensive but you get what you pay for.

In the spirit of being succinct this is what I really liked about the hotel:

Regarding the Design: the public spaces were nicely appointed and did have a sense of warmth and quiet luxury; filling the travertine with black was a beautiful touch; the carpets throughout were also nicely done; the bar was lovely and the outdoor seating was great; I really liked the dark bronze (or black) ball chain at the windows, the rooms had a great shower and I'm not always a fan of rain showers (though those darn shower controls are always hard to figure out); the custom light fixtures in the rooms were pretty though a little out of scale.

Regarding the Service: everyone was generally friendly and for the most part accomodating, the bar staff members were of particular note, the Concierge went out of his way to make recommendations that were quite helpful.

Regarding a couple of other items: Of course the location is great being near the Galleria and Duomo, the toiletries and accessories in the room were quite nice and useful especially the docking station which didn't require any sort of adaptable device, the Simmons mattress was a delight and the linens and pillows were great, the lighting in the room was pretty easy to figure out and had a nice quality to it, I liked how clean the bathtub looked.

This is what I didn't care for at this property and yes, I'm being hyper-critical:

Regarding Room Design: I didn't care to have the mini-bar and "closet" located in the bathroom, I thought the bathroom counter space was really small and it felt like there was lots of clutter in the bathroom overall; those panels over the windows in the room did not look as expensive as I am sure they were - kind of looked like plastic laminate - I was also afraid I was going to bang my head on them or scrape my back on them as well - they also seemed like overkill considering the windows were rather small; I thought the banquette opposite the bed was rather useless since you couldn't see the television, and while the design of the table desk was nice again there was no place to hide any "stuff" in a drawer so everything is out and looks cluttered, I didn't get the little "glass case" on the wall next to the desk.

Regarding a couple of other items: The seating in the Lobby from which they serve breakfast really doesn't work that well for dining, having the antiquities in glass cases in the car park area seemed rather odd.

Overall, yes of course this was a great property, and yes of course I would stay here again, though it's not my favorite Hotel in Milan....

I stayed for three nights this year, and continue to be amazed by the concierge staff and front desk staff. The spa and fitness area downstairs are phenominal for daily pampering or workout. I did the bike with TV,and spa daily. The staff sent a welcoming bowl of fruit and water the day of my arrival. (Platinum amenity). The room was slightly small, and I was there on points, but I have stayed there six different times before, over 9 years. The location is perfect for shopping the Galleria, as well as Via Spiga and other areas.

Staying at this hotel is wonderful. When reading the many other reviews, found the comments about the concierge to be too good to be true...well, it's true. I stay at many five star hotels and can tell you the concierge service is the absolute best I've ever encountered. Galleria shopping right outside the front door. Took a day trip to Bellagio and had a wonderful lunch overlooking Lake Como with a private boat tour of the lake after lunch. Warning that the drive up in rented car can be treacherous as roads are very narrow. Rent a car with GPS.

Rooms are very nice. Service excellent. Very good hotel! Platinum member.

we stayed for 2 nights at this hotel in May and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is centrally located near the Duomo and La Scala with the shopping streets close by. we found the service helpful and professional at all times. The room was a very good size for a junior suite in italy. There is a terrific bar on the side of the hotel with outdoor seating excellent for an afternoon aperatif after a hard days shopping.
