This hotel is close to the centre of Milan, but still is able to give you a very relaxing and spatious experience.
The staff is very efficient and friendly.
The rooms offer a lot of space, very clean and well tended.
They even have a "tower suite" ... you should try to book if you can spend an extra dime.
Three levels, two jacuzi's, big flat screen televisions on each floor ... and a great view over Milan on top floor.
Don't forget to have breakfast in the garden ... a perfect relaxing way to start your day.

Room Tip: All rooms are very good ... and the tower suite is super (too good to be true :-)

Dear Mark L,

Thank you very much for your comment, we are pleased you have enjoyed so much your stay with us.

We are glad to inform you that a big part of the hotel rooms have been renovated during this Summer period in order to keep up the good look and freshness of the building, new carpets in all the hallways and brand new V floor Restaurant opening at the end of August.

We hope to welcome you back soon in order to show you all of above.

Kindest Regards

It is impossible for me to write a review of the hotel without singing the praises of Antonella and Bernie in concierge. On our final day, Antonella went to extraordinary lengths to ensure our trip ran smoothly even intervening in discussions with property landlords - very much above the call of duty. Their help and attentiveness was really exceptional and was absolutely the highlight of our stay - both are a huge credit to the hotel.

We experienced some problems with the rooms (Air Conditioning not going below 21-22 degrees which believe me is a problem when it is 35 degrees outside!). Room was changed once but problem persisted. On the plus side the beds were very comfy and the bathrooms nice.

Breakfast was a bit uninspired but this is almost to be expected of 'business hotels'.

Being so close to the metro is a big plus but the area itself lacks a lot of things to do.

Dear pazzo9,

Thank you for your very kind review, we are honoured to read these words. We daily put our best effort in order to provide our guests with the best service that is why comments like this help us doing better and better.

We are sorry about the air conditioning issue, it is important to say that for health & security rules, the difference of temperature between inside and outside can not be more than 8 degrees. That is the reason why the system does not allow to go too low.

As far as it concern what to do in the area, in August unfortunately it does not offer so much, but, as you said, the metro stop of the yellow line, which reaches in only 7 minutes the Duomo square, is only at 3 minutes walking distance from the Hotel, therefore very convenient for our Guests.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon, in the while we wish you all the best.

We just returned from a two week vacation in Italy and it got off to a nice relaxing start at the Grand Visconti. Being our first time to Italy, we were a bit apprehensive at first, but from the minute we walked into the lobby we were greeted warmly by all staff.
They gave great insights the two days we were there such as where to get an Italian SIM card, metro info( which is very close and extremely easy to use), to dinner suggestions.
Our room was comfortable and well-equipped-everything in good order. We had hoped for a courtyard room but were on the street side of hotel. It was not noisy at all though.
Very nice and plentiful breakfasts both days which you could eat out on the courtyard-nice setting.
We used the pool facilities both days after touring and all, steam, sauna, jacuzzi, pool were great. it is especially neat at night with the lights above the pool resembling stars..
It was a short stay but a great way to start our journey. We would definitely stay here again while visiting Milan

Room Tip: if possible, get onto the courtyard as it is probably a bit quieter and offers a nice view

This hotel was amazing! We were greeted by the manager, who then introduced us to the concierge - she then showed us (and explained) all hotel's facilities, took us to our room, put herself at our disposal for anything we might've needed. Antonella was her name. The room was nicely decorated, big, there was a welcome cookie for each of us, the bathroom is very nice, green marble, there were robes and flip flops for each of us. The doorman, "Matata" is his nickname, is a very nice young man who was always helping us with our packages and all. The lobby is wonderful, nicely decorated. Breakfast was also amazing - fruits, lots of types of bread, juices, etc etc etc - and even if you arrive at 10:20 (it ends at 10:30) you will feel like it was just served. The concierge Bernie is also wonderful, and booked us a restaurant not to be forgotten. Everything about this place was sensational.

People very friendly, and most spoke english. I like the feel of the bed linens in my king size room and would like them in my home. They were that nice. I was here for a business trip. The only thing I would have done different is I would have talked to the staff more to find palces to eat at, instead of walking around on my own.

Room Tip: The bathroom in this hotle is one of the best I have stayed in. Very big. Some of the people who w...
