“A must stay in Milan”
Reviewed September 13, 2013

Me and my wife stayed here to celebrate our honeymoon. This was the third country we visit after Paris and Amsterdam. hmmm... well, What an apartment it was. The Apartment's name speaks for itself. Amazing view, close to Duomo, fashion district and cheap cheap cheap cheap bags (no wonder my wife was so ridiculously excited :D) goodness me, this apartment totally blew me away. An apartment very highly recommended for travelers. The price was reasonable. €310 for 2nights. Here, Location is the biggest point. I would come back for sure. Thanks to the staff for giving the best service too.

Traveled date: 12-14 January 2013. Took me quite a long time to make this review :D but damn i miss this place.

Overlooking Piazza Duomo just outside our window, Glamour Apartments was a perfect way to end our trip. With white dressing gowns and slippers giving it the final 'glamour' touch, this sweet loft style apartment was well equipped and extremely spacious, would definitely go back here.

It certainly was a glamour apartment and the view of the Duomo was just priceless – what a truly amazing position. The Glamour Apartment personnel were very attentive with their communications, texting us the morning of our arrival to confirm our time of arrival. We found the apartment very easy to find by following instructions (looking for the pinkish coloured building was the key to the ease of finding it!). We had the Duomo Open Plan apartment that was very spacious for two adults and two teenage boys. The bathroom was huge. We were given a 20% discount card for a small café directly below the apartment that we did use for lunch one day. Given Milan is quite expensive for food and drinks this did make a difference. We really enjoyed our stay – thank you.

These apartments in Duomo square are ideal for all in Milan for the first time. We ended up staying in two different apartments on the square due to the busy season! I would recommend the "open space" apartments rather than the 1 bedroom apartment due to brightness. We had to bedrooms overlooking the square n you could even have a bath looking at Duomo at nightime!!
The hop on hop off sightseeing bus stop for both A n B routes is cross road by taxi rank which is full of taxis day and night. There is 24 hour police presence in square so 100% safe to roam around at night even alone!!
Duomo right in front of you, the famous arcade Galleria Vittoria Emanuel 11 which you can stroll through, grab a coffee/glass of wine as you head to La Scala theatre.
Loads of shops off square.
Tool the sightseeing bus which is well worth it as you really get to know city sights. C route goes from the castle where you get to see the football stadium. Also a stop at train station where people used their ticket to get back to station on bus saving taxi money.
If you get out on stop after train station; Corso Buenos Aires, the highstreet shops are here and keep straight down this street you end back at apartment square.
When arrived my apartment was ready after lunch so I could leave my bags, have a bite of lunch and then go back to apartment where I could have a shower and freshen up before evening. My bags were put in room and likewise when we moved rooms next day our bags were moved for us with no hassle.
Supermarket near by. We didn't use discount voucher for food. Lots of places to choose from on and off piazza.
At checking out we left bags for day and collected before evening train.

The final test of a hotel is if you would go there again and our answer is YES, absolutely.

Why? Because of :

1. The location. It does not get any better than this. Just open your window and admire the view. Just go downstairs and have a drink, meal or do some shopping in one of the most famous piazzas in the world. Taxis at the door. Sight seeing busses at the door.

2. The room was lovely, clean and tastefully furnished. The bathroom was gorgeous. The kitchenette well appointed, down to a lovely stocked Nespresso machine.

3. The staff are uber - helpful. They keep luggage for you after check-out, if you can't find a tv channel, they rush over from another building to come find it for you and they organise a discount at a restaurant for all your meals.

That is why we would love to go again :-)

Room Tip: Get one with a view of the Duomo. Take ear-plugs if you are a light sleeper and want to sleep with t...

I booked the apartment after looking at review which were mixed. I can only say that on this occasion the advertisement was true to life. The apartment is just like the photos advertised. The service is great, there are even laundry facilities and mini bar which is not usually available in apts. the check in with Stefano was very efficient and we were able to check in early as we arrived on a 9 am flight.mi would highly recommend the apt which was the duomo view for three people. The one for four people is great as well as we checked it out. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend them.

Room Tip: The duomo apps Re greats

We arrived at 6am from Paris via night train. Booked it via booking.com, the address given was rubbish. Eventhough i had informed the person in charge what time we would get there prior to our arrival via email and had the phone number to contact him. There was no answer until 9am. The rubbish address had no block number, no specific street name. We walked around for a good two hours in the cold in circles because of the rubbish address. We asked shopkeepers, the police, the baristers but no one knew where glamour apts were and the address on booking.com was completely useless, the helpdesk could help us as they could find no one to help us. That was the address that ws given to them. That was the bad part.
The apartments are beautifully decorated. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with two toilets. Location is a 5 min walk to the duomo. Wonderful restaurants downstairs and shopping a stone throw away. We could hear mozart playing in the day. It was nIce. They had nice shampoo and soap like a hotel. The person in charge also provided a map which was great. Came with breakfast vouchers. Location wise, it cant get any better. But be sure to get the specific address and directions.
