Never experienced a so poor chinese restaurant....:
1:outside is written japan restaurant but it's chinese, they didin't change the writing outside of the previous one..
2:menu: it is not clear at all what they will bring you...lattuce with meat and shrimps...??one shrimp, some bacon and lattuce...7 euros!it was tasting very bad
3:the rice tagliatelle were all sticky
4:beef plate: they served only the less noble part of the beef, the fat part!
5:service:very poor, slow, they forget to bring you things
6: the place is not very tidy...

I will never go there again!

Working in the area we often use this place for lunch. It has authentic chinese cuisine with a very large variety going from a selection of dim sum (as you would expect, they're called ravioli here!) all different pastas, magnificent roast duck and pork and many many more. It is true that the service is less than basic but when you think that you can have a very good meal for less than 10 euros, what do you expect?!

this place is poorly managed, short staff!! not enough food being carted around such a massive space, way over their heads, should step back and realize how poor of a service they are providing...sub-par food but I do have a couple of favourites but that's about it.

bad service on 1st/2nd/3rd visits is plenty enough chances, not worth the aggrevation and my time!!!

Time to dine elsewhere!!!

After finally managing to book 2 places on a Saturday night, (you need to book at least a week in advance) we got a 9:30 pm table....at the via Padova original location. The place is very spartan, with tables too close together, plain decor, bare light bulbs for illumination, terrible acousitcs (you can't hear the person in front of you speaking...) and a generally very drab atmosphere. It was packed, and it's due to the location, good food, generally quick service by barely language sufficient staff, an interesting menu and decent (not low) prices. Good for the youngish, trendy and cheap crowd. Excellent udon, vegetable dishes, fire pots with meat, vegetables or fish, a new experience for me, but not for the timid. Good mix of classical Chinese, and original Hong Kong dishes. I found the vegetable dumplings heavy and nothing special. Will try their other location. With all the money they're making, they could invest a bit more in spiffing up the place to make for an all around better dining experience, but I guess they don't need to, it's always packed! But I left with a headache from the noise level...

if you are travelling through Milan Milan and you gave up pasta and pizza or you are a resident try this Chinese.
Authentic Chinese food, young Chinese staff and design, mixed Chinese+locals clients and fare prices; pretty different from the average Italian fake Chinese menus. Also: Not too far from Central Station if you are on departure! Not sure about the amount of MSG(Monosodium Glutamate).in the dishes..........
