This place is great, my Italian colleagues took me here for an evening meal and it was terrific. The menu is all based on genuine Parma cooking. Try a plate of mixed cold meats with a bag of warm pizza bread to start Mmmmmmmm, and perhaps follow up with a light pasta dish and if you've still got any room left, the puddings are great (we shared a couple). Very friendly service and its possible to sit outside and watch the world go by. €148 for four of us including wine, water 3 courses. Try it.

“Excellent food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

This is a great salumeria (deli) and lunch place near the Castello Sforzesco. Upfront is the deli part of the store, where you can see their great cuts of meat and hunks of cheese. In the back is the restaurant portion.

The food we had was excellent. We each had a plate of sliced meat (prosciutto and other types) and bread for about 12 euros per person. The manager of the place also brought 2 types of aged parmigiano cheese and gave us a few pointers to pay attention to the texture and "spiciness" between the two cheese. To top it off, we received bread -- slices of a rustic crusty bread and also fried dough pockets (torta fritta). The torta fritta were AWESOME combined with the cuts of meat and cheese. It was so good that we asked for a 2nd bag of the torta fritta.

The service we received was excellent. I only speak a little Italian, but all of the waitstaff spoke English and they were very patient with us. The manager spoke excellent English and was in fact explaining the whole design of the store to a group of Englishmen when we were leaving after lunch. At no point did I feel uncomfortable due to language barrier. Also, they were very patient in answering questions about the various meats and cheeses in the store.

For two people for lunch with wine and soft drinks and coffee, we paid 39 euros.

Dear Customer, I'm glad you enjoyed Parma&Co. Moreover, I would like to thank you very much for your precise and accurate review which represents, in my opinion, the clearest "picture" and description ever made about our place on Tripadvisor. It is interesting to note that a foreign traveler immediately understood our double concept (eat in - take away): sometimes it's not so immediate even to Italians! New York is probably teaching more than any other place in the world...might be the time for Parma&co to join the Big Apple? Looking forward to see you again. Best Regards. PCCT

“Nice lunch place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012

Located in a trendy neighborhood in Brera. The vibe of the place is great - a mix between modern & artisan. We had a platter of various ham cuts for lunch and for coperto - we did not only get normal bread slices but also torta fritta. Yum! The ham platter consisted of crudo, salume, cooked ham (not sure what's called) and some pork terrine (cost around 10 euro). It was really yum, and also nice to look at.

Next to the lunch place, they also have a small deli. You can buy anything from ham, cheese (especially parmesan), and especially home-made jams.

“Perfect lunch place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2012

This is simply a great deli/lunch place; perfect for tasting in store and buying with you some Parma ham and parmesan cheese. The place is located on the heart of Brera and seems to be frequented mostly by Italians. They have a daily menu ranging from 8 to 15 euros for platters of ham, soup or salad. I recommend the “ham platter of the day” that comes with newly baked bread or "the salad of the day" topped up with ham and big chunks of parmesan cheese with a glass of Lambrusco (sparkling red wine).
