“Gorgeous theatre, interesting museum”
Reviewed December 10, 2012 via mobile

If you Re interested in music, don't miss this. The theatre is sometimes hard to view, as you view it from ome of the boxes, and the crowds sometimes make it hard to get in. But it is worth the wait. The museum has all kinds of interesting music and theatre memorabilia. It is a nice break from all the churches and art museums. If you're not that interested inmusic and theatre, however, you may want to skip.

“Interesting”
Reviewed December 1, 2012

The best about the museum is being able to peep into the interior of teatro della Scala, which is gorgeous. If you are an opera fan, you'll enjoy seeing abundant memorabilia about old opera stars.

“Giselle with girlfriends”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

In one of the seats up top 'piccionaia'....yes ridiculously unconfortable but - if you cannot afford the 'good seats' - you must still go and see a performance at La Scala. You breath history and art. A must see.

“A real highlight of my visit to Italy”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

This was so much more than I expected! From the outside you would never anticipate the beauty of the interior of the opera house. The exhibition itself is fascinating but the highlight is the fact that you get to watch part of a rehearsal which was a tremendous joy. This was so well worth the small adission fee.

“Lots of opera history”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Small building but jammed with moments. Good signage in English. Heard the orchestra rehearsing.
Great book shop basement filled with great CDs.
