My visit was to see the Bellini exhibition and then stroll through the rest of the Pinacoteca, what made this a longer visit was the fact that there were NO CROWDS. I was able to sit in a few rooms and have art all to my self. It was an amazing experience-
The reasons why is was not crowded, perhaps the time- I went in about 11:30-1:30. They do have lockers to store small bags or large purse, but it was not required to leave it ( some museums make you leave everything )
The other reason it may not have been crowded, the school kids went to visit the Pinacoteca in early spring- so the only students are the college students at the Pinacoteca.
Beautifully displayed art, that had been in churches, villa's and other museums. Loved this place-

The Pinacoteca di Brera has an amazing collection of works of art. Many many over hyped museums around the world would pay to have the same Italian masterpieces on show. Unfortunately the place is very badly managed: only one person checking the entrance tickets (be ready for long cues for a relatively small number of visitors) and the museums looks like it has not been renovated in centuries. The art is amazing, but as oftentimes with publicly managed museums in Italy, the experience is ruined by poorly trained staff and bad conditions of the building (not comparable to modernly managed museums). I hope they fix this because their art collection is worth the visit.

Was in the neighborhood and saw the sign of Bellini, and gave it a try, what we like was the fact that there was no line at all to get in, quiet just how we like it. The artworks are well worth the visit, we just enjoyed the morning looking at the wonders of these artworks and sculptures. If you are in Milan, you must go to this, worth the trip. After we left, the Brera District is just a block away, very nice neighborhoods, cafes, and shops.

Enjoyed browsing a vast collection of paintings and art work at this gallery. Even those who do not have the inclination to art, this is a good place to just admire man's creativity. It displays works of famous artists.

Bellini, Mantegna, Raphael, Caravaggio, Piero della Francesca, Rubens, just around the corner from the office. Why did I wait so long to enjoy them.
