This restaurant was recommended to us by the nearby hotel where we were staying (the very excellent Hotel Berna), but this restaurant turned out to be rather a disappointment. Although the service is reasonably fast and friendly, the actual food was of rather mediocre quality. It is by no means terrible, but it is certainly nowhere near the quality that can be had at this price range.

Our hotel near the Centrale train station recommended this place, and we are happy that we took their advice.

Dinner starts with a warm, friendly welcome and a complimentary glass of good prosecco. (I've had too many blah proseccos and give this one high praise. Let me say now that the wine menu has a lot of variety and is fairly priced.)

The menu has something to please everyone, from small and large plates to freshly-prepared meats, fish, veggies, salads. We did not want a large dinner, but opted for substantial starters of anitipasti and composed salads, and seafood pasta and risotto. -- all delicious. This was probably one of our favorite dinners in Italy, even though it was not the full 3-4 course version.

The room is comfortable but has classy touches such as nice table cloths and tableware, flowers. Murals of famous scenes in Italy cover the walls. There is a smoking section, but we were never bothered by any smoke. Outdoor sidewalk seating in nice weather.

Again, the service staff was friendly, helpful, and professional.

We'll be back if in this area again, and have recommended to our local office (the trip was part business, part pleasure.)

Recommended by hotel we were staying at. It's an OK restaurant, reasonable décor, plenty of waiting staff. The service was 'brisk and efficient' with the emphasis on brisk. We got there for about 7.30pm on a Saturday evening and it felt like they were keen to get us out in plenty of time to re-use the table. The menu was extensive - the food was average - nothing special. We get better food and a lot better service at our local Italian in the UK!

We went there because of the comments of trip adviser and our hotel also not far to them. Another reason is Yhe restaurant we used to go is changed, become too nosiy, many smoking people, food and service become worst ... Therefore, we try this one!
We are happy to go there, you can expect good service, good food in a acceptable price there. However, the decoration is a bit old! To be honest, we do not care about the decoration!

Recommended by our hotel ( Berna). Probably the best of the 14 dinners out we had in our Italian vacation. You are welcomed by a waiter outside that pours a Prosecco for you before you have even decided whether to get in... More complimentary Prosecco at the table, followed by a complimentary bruschetta. Had the tagliata of scottona, preceded by a risotto. Excellent. Very professional service. More complimentary stuff at the end (biscotti). Recommended.
