Very cute hotel. Staff were excellent and very helpful. We had a standard room, which for European standards was good in size. Unique decor very cute. We had a room on the 1st floor facing back of hotel, which was nice and quiet.
Not in the centre of Milan but this was also a good thing as you are away from the main tourist traps and tourist menus you find in the duomo area.
Across the road from the hotel is a good supermarket also a 1 minute walk was a bakery( head towards post office) which had the best breakfast, next door to that was a pasta restaurant with amazing food. Not sure how long it would take to walk to the duomo. As it was December and cold we caught taxis to the duomo. Approx. 9 euros each way. Next to the hotel is a church that feeds the homeless. At first I was a bit uncomfortable and worried about my safety, but the front desk explained they were harmless and just there to get fed. Had no problems what so ever. And did not get bothered. Hotel is great value for money.

Stayed 2 nights in this beautiful charm filled hideaway. Would recommend to anyone seeking something different. Piano bar and excellent mixologist Ivan were a highlight. Attentive manager, helpful reception staff made us feel very much at home. A luxurious 21st century refurbishment of a classicly built beautiful Italian building making great use of its individual features. Would definitely return. Additionally, the complimentary snacks given with pre dinner drinks were exceptional. Many many thanks.

I visited Chateau Monfort end of November/early December as a surprise birthday treat for my husband and we had the most magical experience!!

We were upgraded to an Executive room as a special birthday surprise which was fantastic! The room itself was spotless and had fabulous little toiletries. The bed was huge and had a choice of two pillows, it had a beautiful canopy which lit up and complimented the colour chaging mood lighting above the sheer curtain which divided the bathroom area from the main bedroom. The room had a safety deposit box and a little fridge filled with the usual mini bar treats. The shower room is seperate from the toilet and has the biggest showerhead I have ever seen!! The fluffy towling robes and complimentary slippers are a real treat after a nice hot shower.

The hotel has a wonderful elegant sophisticated feel about it and the little touches and details did not go amiss. The bar area is beautiful and serves the best cocktails I have ever had, particularly the 'double flower', it was 14 Euros and worth every cent!! You are also treated to a fabulous selection of complimentary canopes that were delicious.

The breakfast is excellent, a huge variety, cakes and buns, eggs and bacon, cheese and meats, salad, smoked salmon, fruit, yogurts etc etc as well as an egg station where fresh omlettes or fried eggs are cooked in front of you.

The staff were extremely helpful and very polite, nothing was too much trouble. They gave detailed directions to points of interest and seemed to genuinly want to help.

I didn't visit the spa but if the rest of the hotel is anything to go by I imagine it is excellent.

The hotel is situated in a great location, about 10 minutes from Duomo and the main shopping area.

Please ignore any of the bad feedback this hotel has received on here, I can only surmise that these people have ridiculously high expectations.

This hotel is exceptional and manages to remain cute and quirky whilst retaining an elegant and luxurious feel. I would visit Milan again if only to stay in this magical hotel!

Stunning transformation of this palace. Rooms are magical. Comfort plus. A gorgeous range of toiletries - the lavender shampoo is stunning. Great location just out of the centre so quiet and private but a short walk to everything. Good local restaurants nearby plus a supermarket on the next corner. Victum cafe across the road is great for breakfast. A true treat.

Friendly staff, well located and nice rooms - nice place to be. Just make sure you dont travel with too many bags...there is not too much space in the rooms for clothes. Anyway, Milano is good to do shopping...

Great hotel , 10 minutes walk from Duomo and close to the superb "California Bakery" for coffee and cakes. We stayed there for three nights choosing this hotel over others due to the "Spa and Pool" however was disappointed on arrival to find it was €30 each per day to use the facility...note to hotel...you should really put this on your website...however it did not spoil the experience...top tip for great restaurants and nightlife catch a taxi to the "canal area". And make sure you book well in advance for the visit to see the Last Supper to avoid missing out.
