Where do I start, great service from the moment we arrived to check in, rooms are big and luxurious, grea spa facilities. The hotel is located a little out of the main centre of Milans shipping area but it's only a 10-15min walk. Great breakfast and reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel would definatley stay here again.

This hotel is a wonderful gem. The staff is beyond helpful, courteous polite, charming, etc. They were helpful from the first phone call I made while still in the U.S. The room was comfortable, the sheets and mattress and pillows all of good quality. The bathroom was large and user friendly. My only disappointment was that I thought we had breakfast included in the room rate and after we had eaten breakfast, we had a 50 euro charge! That's a lot for a typical european buffet breakfast. But even with that unexpected twist, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel which is well situated near the Duomo and walking distance to the historic center of the city.

We spent three weeks in different hotels in Europe and this was not he first time. Now, one week after the best memories come from Chateau Monfort.
Everybody is well trained to give you a smile -wich is remarkable unusual in Milan's people-, and give you the best service.
We had breakfast included -delicious-, and in a beautifully decorated restaurant.
Very well lockated, within walking distance to the Fashion Square and Buenos aires Avenue where most stores are located.
There are many small restaurants around besides the hotel.
Hope there could be many similar places likes this in Europe!!

This is a beautiful hotel and I loved the enchanted Alice and Wonderland type feel. Macaroon replica pillows, wardrobes with big key holes with glowing eyes inside, owls decorating the room, it was very magical feeling. Their toiletries were beautiful too, in cute little bottles of different pastel colours. The location was okay; we had to walk about 10 minutes to the nearest metro station but that was easy to use and figure out. There are a few good restaurants around and a fabulous gelato shop at the end of the street. The bed was very comfortable and the room was dark. One of the downfalls was it is on the corner of a very busy street and it is very loud. We are light sleepers and were woken up several times by people talking and cars passing as well as several ambulance alarms. The other disappointing thing was breakfast was not included (all of our other hotels it had been) and it was an extra 25 euro per person to add. They also had a very neat pool/lounge area in the basement that was 30 euro per person to use. There weren't really any extras or bonuses to staying in this hotel but it was beautiful.

Room Tip: Ask for one that isn't facing either of the 2 main streets, it might be quieter. Our room faced...

It's a 4-star at best. Yes the rooms are very new and clean. The interior decor is absolutely charming. However the walls and SO darn thin that you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallway including random chatters, doors opening/closing, maids cleaning and vacuuming. Our room was VERY loud. The service was also very spotty with the front desk taking forever to get back to our requests that revolved around everything from room service, housekeeping, to concierge. Whenever we asked for restaurant or bar suggestions they would just point in the direction of the place in question and draw a huge circle on the map of its approximate area... thanks but that is not helpful enough when we are new to Milan and unable to speak Italian. You should provide your guests with something called an Address and a Phone Number also? This resulted in us getting lost numerous times. Do not even bother with In-Room Dining. We did that the first night and everything we ate was way too oily. Literally the spaghetti and risotto were CLUMPED together from the fat. Gross. Overall it's a good place to stay if you're looking for a new and clean hotel without the need for 5-start service. Location is decent... it's about a 15-20 min walk to the Duomo.

I agree that this place deserves a rating of A+. Our room was beautiful, the AC was awesome and individually controllable. It's only a short walk to the major sites and the service is incredible. It's five stars all the way. I will stay here again when in Milan. If you can afford it, you should too.

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms. This place is new and modern. Five stars all the way.

We stayed at Chateau Monfort twice during our Italian tour. We loved this chic, "fairy tale" theme hotel. The front desk staff was fantastic, helpful, efficient and made us feel welcomed. Thanks Matteo. Our son loved the "owl" room. Breakfast was good but not amazing. The room is small, but average for European standard.

The downside is that guests have to pay 30 Euro pp to use the pool! Didn't expect this from a five star hotel. The taxi driver did not know where this hotel was, so make sure you carry the address of the hotel.

It takes about 20 min leisurely walk to the Duomo, if you dont feel too energetic, the bus stop is just across the road from hotel. We would probably like to stay closer in next time.
