This is a absolute gem. We arrived without a reservation on a Tuesday evening for dinner and although it clearly caused them a bit of a headache they managed to sit us with the minimum of fuss. What followed was an exhibition in service, provenance and cooking. Everything was so fresh, tasty and cooked to utter perfection, all delivered with the warmest, sincerest and efficient service - it really was faultless. Not often I say that!. Furthermore it's also amazing value - clearly investing in the product rather than the over-the-top interiors or exteriors - though both of these are delightfully simple and pleasant. If you're in Milan, go here.

My wife and I were completely let down and enraged by this place. We were looking for a nice dinner for our one-night stay in Milan, and after reading the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor, we settled on this place! Little did we know that it was a mistake and waste of our time.

After calling and making a reservation for later in the evening, we arrived to find nothing but disappointment. The Flock o' Seagulls desk waiter made his best effort to let us know we were not welcome. When my wife told him we had a reservation, he gave her a scathing look of skepticism mixed with a touch of disdain. This young buck even refused to speak to the female waitress who originally took our call, telling us that it was "impossible" for us to have reservations. We were treated like beggars at his door who had no place in "his" restaurant (come on, dude, you're not a day older than 18, you DON'T own this place).

It was truly a shame, as we had nothing but money and time to spend on some wonderful Italian food.

Amazing menu, a mix of Italian and fusion, specialized on fish and seafood, but offering a variety of many other types of food.
Small, romantic restaurant, cuddled in a residential neighbourhood of Milan, far from the tourist traps, offering amazing food, wine, and great service.
Reservations recommended.
Staff speaks English, too.
The best restaurant I've been to in Milan, and I have lived there for a year...
Enjoy!

After searching tripadvisor for a decent place to eat away from the tourist hotspots we thought we'd give this a go. What an inspired choice ! Wonderful ambience, lovely helpful staff and most of all delicious homemade food. The waitress spoke perfect English to overcome our Italian shortcomings and recommended a quality wine to go with our meal. The chef takes great pride in his food and even brought us an array of fish on a plate to choose from. After advice we plumped for the Sea Bream and it was excellent. My wife even suggested it was the best pasta she'd had since the Academia restaurant in Florence several years ago...high praise indeed. A free Limoncello to end a lovely evening was perfect.Slightly out of the way but only 10-15 mins on the Metro from the Duomo and a 5 min stroll from the station. If you want a wonderful meal with excellent staff and where they care about the customer as much as they do the food then make an effort to get here.

Very creative and excellent menu. Staff were also great. Mostly local diners which is always a good sign. Chef recommended a great wine and also one of our mains. Put yourself in his hands. You won't be let down!
