“Nice hotel with very friendly staff!”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

The hotel is close to a metro station and to the Congress centre 'Milano Congressi'. Excellent when attending a meeting there. Rooms were clean, not very large, but definitely good enough. Staff was very friendly! They recommended restaurants and further travel destinations.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 days in August and it was a great place to stay. The hotel is ideally located for the Milan Congress venue nearby. The hotel was nice and clean and rooms were very quiet. The breakfast was very tasty with a big selection. The staff were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Hotel is located outside historical center of city, but near metro station (3 minutes of walk), so it's easy to get anywhere you like. Twice we even walked to hotel, it takes an hour to get from historical city center by walk. Breakfast is good enough, and coffee is best of any hotel in Italy we've been to (4 totally). Rooms are small, but nice and clear, have everything needed, including WiFi. I can recommend this hotel, it's good enough and I'd like to return here when I'm at Milan again.

I found it a very good budget-hotel value, with an extremely nice staff.

We only needed a room for one night, on our way home to the U.S. It was simple, clean and around the corner from the metro, only about a ten-minute ride to the Duomo area; and (to my surprise), only a short walk to the frequently-arriving Malpensa Airport shuttle bus (we had thought we’d have to take the metro several stops to the Cadorna station and get the bus there, for an early morning flight, but this was much easier). The staff immediately gave my husband and I all information and directions, as well as restaurant suggestions. Also, breakfast was officially from 7 AM on, and we told them we were leaving earlier, not expecting any privileges; but when we came downstairs at 6 AM, the desk clerk said “I prepared something for you,” and the breakfast buffet was completely laid out!

We stayed one night at the hotel. The owner is very nice and kind. It is near to the metro station and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the shops. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is not expensive. You get free wifi and parking is in the front of the entrance. We had a good time and certainly recommend it.

“Good places go bad, bad places go bankrupt” is a famous slogan from the Lonely Planet guide trying to motivate their users to contribute to updates. But this also offers opportunities for great places to emerge. And this is exactly what the passionate and courageous new owner must have had in mind when he quit his job in a major hotel in Milan amidst a financial crisis last year to start his own business with the help of his family and made a great place out of this hotel recognizing that this place could have a lot going for it.
This little hotel is a true pearl in the city. Do not be mistaken by the somewhat neglected appearance of its outside and the furniture of the room which will probably be taken care of within the near future. It is absolutely clean, you will find a good bed, the rooms can be fully darkened by the outside shades, the showers are excellent (never had a better water pressure and more warm water even in any 4 or 5-star hotel). The rooms have flat colour TV and even the WIFI is inclusive, they have air-conditioning but I preferred not to use it and sleep with the window open. Although it is in the city, the street is completely quit apart from the weekly garbage collection, so sleeping with the windows open is a great option.
The hotel is situated in a quiet and safe residential area just a few minutes’ walk of the M1 Subway/Metro line that will take you to the vibrant heart of the city centre, or to the Cadorna railway station and thus the Malpensa Express train, within 10 minutes. (Tip: get a 48h unlimited ticket for all public transport in Milan for only 8 Euros. It is not only price worthy but saves the hassle of buying tickets every time). The MiCo conference centre entrance is an easy 10-minutes’ walk and the Malpensa shuttle bus stop is even closer.
The breakfast buffet is as good as you could expect from a modest continental European hotel. There is no cooked breakfast but you will find a choice of absolutely fresh bread and pastries, tasteful meats, marmalades, honey, yoghurts, boiled eggs etc. accompanied with tea or coffee to the best Italian tradition.
There are several smaller restaurants in the direct neighbourhood that will provide you with food and drinks if you ever would not feel like going to the centre for dinner and even the supermarket is within a 5 minutes ‘walk.
If you are looking for a great place to stay with really honest warm hospitality instead of a professional smile in a personal bed-and-breakfast like ambiance with all hotel facilities, a quit night sleep in a clean room, an excellent shower, a fresh breakfast and all within a short distance of the heart of Milan or the Conference centre and everything you might possibly need, try to get a room in this hotel and you won’t regret it!
