Had an amazing experience. Extremely efficient service, excellent location. Warm and welcoming, would definitely go back. The staff was very helpful when wanting to book restaurants and making general reservations. Worth the money - def check it out when you plan your next trip to Milan.

Extremely centrally located and with most elegant surroundings. The hotel's location is probably unbeatable. All the rest is average, more likely 3 stars. However, for the first reason, I highly recommend staying there when in Milan.

My wife and I spent 1 night in this hotel and we found it was rather a good surprise.
The location is just great, very close to the Duomo and to the busy shopping streets.
Our room, a junior suite, was quite OK.
The breakfast buffet was a bit short and we had to ask for croissants or pastries as they were in limited quantity.

We spent the weekend at the Hotel Ambasciatori and would definately return. Checking in was a little strange, we a little uncomfortable like we were interupting, but we got our key and the porter took us and our luggage to our room. The hotel has great rooms, reasonable size and clean, with quiet but efficient air conditioning. The lift made a lot of strange noises but never let us down. The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing being close to loads of tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping. If we return to Milan we will stay here again.

Room Tip: Though we were not near the lift I would imagine the noise of the lift might disrupt sleep.

I would stay at Hotel Ambasciatori again and recommend this hotel to others. The hotel is in an excellent location. Close to all the tourist attractions, shops and metro. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

Our last night of our holidays was in Milan. We hadn't pre booked so upon arriving in Milan my daughter and I did a bit of TA research and decided on the Ambasciatori Hotel. We arrived at the hotel about 30 minutes after booking on line. The reception staff were great and the check in process quick and easy. Our twin room was huge as was the bathroom. I would definitely book here again if back in Milan. It is close to everything and only a short walk to the train for our trip to the airport. Highly recommended.

Location is actually quite perfect for a tourist discovering Milano, especially if one does not arrive by car. It is not just the Napoli-like chaotic traffic governed by scooters and extra-small cars, challenging fearlessly your two tons of metal, also parking around the hotel is virtually impossible. You need to park in an underground garage on the other side of the beautiful Duomo and walk for approx half a mile to the hotel. Entrance lies within a cute gallery, nobody is there to help you with you luggage. One of the worst receptions in my recent years, disorganized, uncaring.

My room was adequately sized for a four star hotel, well taken care of, acceptable all in all. Considering the off-season venere.com price, of course. Bathroom rather small. Disappointing view of the backyard.

Buffet breakfast definitely not disappointing. A small detail did bother me – there was just one piece of a nice pie left on a table before the end of breakfast time, patiently waiting (for me?), then a famished waitress calmly took it and satisfied her hunger. No replacement ever came. A rather strange experience. Thereagain, it is a tourist hotel and one can not expect too much.
