Quaint little hotel about 4 blocks from Piazza del Duomo. Few rooms, quiet street and very helpfull staff. the breakfast brunch is good. Rooms are comfortable and include wifi.
We were surprized by how close we were to the Duomo and hos quiet our little street was.

A very good location for exploring the city. A little difficult to find, but OK with SatNav. There is no parking at the hotel but a member of staff drove the car to a local car park. We had to pay £30 for one night - far too expensive. There is one disabled space in front of the hotel which allows disabled UK citizens with a blue badge to use (no time limit) if it's not already being used. Print out an accompanying letter to display besides your blue badge from here: http://www.fiadisabledtravellers.com/en/world_map/europe/italy.htm

We stayed for 3 nights in this excellent hotel and were amazed at how quiet it was given that it is within 5 minutes walk of the Duomo and Centre of Milan. All the staff were friendly and the reception staff were excellent. The free mini bar with water was especially appreciated, as was the free wifi. There are plenty of good restaurants in walking distance.

We stayed here in 2010, & it was excellent. We came back in 2014, & it was again excellent. Such a perfect location, great rooms, superb staff. Alberto at the desk was so very helpful, & Alessandro at the morning buffet was wonderful - not to mention the excellent food choices, especially the scrambled eggs!

Room Tip: High floor

A small beautiful antique looking hotel in the center of Milan, located within a short walk of the pedestrian only area of via Dante and the Duomo. While in the financial district the neighborhood was very quiet. The rooms were great and furnished in an antique but comfortable style except for the very modern bathrooms. The staff was extremely helpful. Of the several hotels we stayed at over the years in Milan this was the best located and very comfortable.

Room Tip: No great views. We looked out over the entrance which was full of foilage.

The Hotel Gran Duca di York was a little difficult for us to find, but once we found it we were happy we did. The hotel is on the end of a quiet street just a short 5-minute walk from all the Duomo. The staff was very friendly and our accommodations were good. The restaurant recommendations they made were spot on. We stayed in Milan, Florence and Rome and the breakfast they offered was the best of all three hotels. We even grabbed a couple of pieces of fresh fruit on the way out every day to snack on as we went sightseeing. The fridge in the room was stocked every day with free water, which was a nice extra. They also have a little bar area and we took advantage of ordering a couple of drinks and a snack when we arrived back late from a side trip to Lake Como. Once we got our bearings we realized that the train station is actual only a 15 to 20 minute walk away. We both though it was a good value for the money.

This is a very friendly hotel right in the centre of Milan - 2 minutes from the Duomo and all the other sites of Milan but in a peaceful, quiet street.
All the staff were all friendly and helpful, especially reception, which made our stay all the more relaxing. The free mini bar was a bonus and the breakfast was of an exceptionally high standard.
To find the hotel you can take a taxi but we took the metro to Piazza Cordusio (2 stops from Stazione Cordona - we had come in from Malpensa Airport), the hotel is behind the Banca D'Italia.
