This hotel is just few blocks from the Duomo, shopping and the subway and around the corner from the Biblioteca Ambrosiana but it is in a non-tourist, residential neighborhood. The staff have excellent English and were extremely helpful. They sent us to small, neighborhood restaurants which had excellent food and wine. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was extensive and tasty with very good pastry.

This is a small boutique hotel located in an area surrounded by banks. It is only a short walk to the main square and the Duomo. We found the streets confusing and at night the hotel seems isolated though perfectly safe. The room was really nice with a great bed. The only negative experience was their inability to get the internet working in our room. I had to come down to the lobby to get onine.

This hotel is centrally located within a walking distance to the main attractions in Milan. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Water and soft drinks in the minibar are complimentary. The breakfast is also very good with a large variety of options.
The staff is very friendly and will be glad to help you. They will probably recommend the restaurants Trattoria Milanese and Hostaria Borromei close by. They are both OK, traditionally decorated and with reasonable prices. Although the hotel staff didn’t mention it, there is another very good restaurant nearby called Piazza Borromeo. It is very small and decorated in a more modern style, but the food is excellent, better than in the recommended restaurants. Prices there are also reasonable.
If it wasn’t for a rather too soft mattress and either thin room walls or too noisy neighbors, I would actually consider it a four star hotel. Maybe we were just unlucky with our neighbors, who used to start making noise and talk on the phone very loud (we were even able to hear the person with whom they were talking to) at about 3 a.m. till 7 a.m. At the first night we thought, that they would actually be returning to the room at that time but that would be for one sole night. But it was the same thing on the next day. So by the end of our stay we were exhausted by the sleepless nights and with a little bit of backache from the mattress.
Despite of these inconveniences I would really recommend this hotel and would have no problems to stay here again in our next trip to Milan (just hoping more silent neighbors!).

We arrived in Milan at 6am on a Sunday morning. We took a cab and arrived at the hotel to be offered coffees for which we were not charged for. The room was ( understandably) not ready but we had our coffees and used the free wi-fi to find on Trip Advisor where to get a sim card. The location is only a short stroll from the centre of Milan (Duomo, Galleria,La Scarla) and close to the Metro line to link to other areas such as the shopping precinct where we located a TIM store to obtain our sim. The staff continued to very friendly and accommodating and the breakfasts were the best we encountered on our trip.Tiny lift and smallish rooms but these were easily out weighed by the other advantages. No hesitation to Recommend.Pete M

Spent three nights here in September. We had a room with a terrace. Location of the hotel is perfect being easy walking distance to the centre of Milan , La scala theatre and going to see The Last Supper. Breakfast was great and Marco was the perfect host behind the bar each evening for "Happy Hour". The breakfast staff were exemplary and accommodated each request with a minimum of fuss. This hotel is perfectly located being in a very quiet part of the city yet easy walking distance to shopping and major attractions.

Room Tip: If possible , book a room with a terrace. Nothing better than sitting on your own terrace having a g...

Stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a long trip before flying out of Linate Airport. This is a modern hotel with all the comforts very centrally located for seeing the major sights in Milano. An easy walk to the Duomo, the Galleria, La Scala, the Brera etc. I stayed in a single room, which was small, but not claustrophobic thanks to a large window and a good room layout. Had free wifi, and a nice free breakfast. It's a fairly short cab ride to Linate. Moderately priced for Milano, I consider this a very suitable hotel if you are just flying in or about to fly out on a trip to Italy. I was on a pleasure trip, but this would be a good hotel if you were on business. Professional, helpful front desk.

We found this hotel via Trip Advisor and discovered for ourselves that it deserved its high rating. It's located in the financial district, which is pretty central to everything we wanted to see (Duomo, Borromeo Castle, fashion district, DaVinci's "Last Supper") and yet was quiet in the evenings. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was quite a nice full breakfast included, and snacks at the bar in the late afternoon/early evening. There was a mini-bar in the rooms and everything in it (non-alcoholic drinks) was free, as was the wi-fi. We had a king-size bed, which we've found to be a rare treat in the rest of Europe. This is definitely a hotel we'd recommend and to which we would return.
