A pleasant hotel in a great position. Duomo, shopping and restaurants all very close.

Staff were friendly and very helpful, especially with tourist information. Room was adequate. Our room did not face the street, and was quiet.

Breakfast was better than is often available in Italy, with a good range of foods. You could have toast, proper espresso coffee if you requested it, and cooked egg dishes for extra payment.

Price was quite reasonable for a hotel in such a good location.

We just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It was quite hot in Milan while we were there, and the air conditioning in the room was just about non-existent. Breakfast was boring at best. The clincher was that I paid the bill presented to me upon checkout and then when I got home realized that there were two charges on my credit card. I emailed them 3 times to find out what was up, and finally got an answer that they had made a mistake and that 's why they put a second charge on my credit card. I tried aruing with them, but they said they would get their lawyer to deal with this issue, and I didn't want anything negative to appear on my credit report. I would not recommend this hotel.

We paid a price of €179 which is a little bit too much for the services offered (for example there is no gym or swimming pool).
The Hilton and Sheraton are cheaper even though they are not located as centrally.

Rooms:
Although me and my colleagues were paying €179, they were not the same size rooms. For example, rooms 317 and 315 are much bigger than 316, even though they are all classified as a business room. The bathrooms in some of the rooms are really small. The furnishing in the rooms is ok, and I liked the fact that the windows have blinds which means the room is really dark and you don't get woken up by the sun in the mornings.

Wifi:
Free only for laptops, but they charge €9 per day on smartphones.

Roofbar:
Great roof bar on the 10th floor over-looking the city.

Breakfast:
You can choose a range of cereals, croissants, scrambled eggs, cold meat and cheese cuts, fresh fruit, yoghurts and juices. Unfortunately the hotel does not use fresh milk, the milk that they use is long-life and tastes terrible. You can obtain extras like omlettes, fried eggs, bacon etc. for an extra charge.

Security:
The security arrangements are good. There is always someone at reception, and the front door is locked at night, only guests are allowed in after a certain hour.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper you should ask for a room which does not face the front, as the trams might keep you awake.

Short (two minutes) walk from Duomo, basic breakfast with enough staff, clean basic rooms ok except noisy A/C, reception service faceless.

Room Tip: Ask for room with air condition machine which is not noisy.
