We only stayed for one night so the location was very convenient - it is less than 5 min from the train station and airport bus stop (the quickest way to the airport bus stop is straight under the railway tracks) and also a short direct metro ride to the Duomo. The neighbourhood is not particularly nice but didn't feel unsafe at any time.

We booked online with a discounted rate so the hotel was excellent value for money. If I was expecting a 3 star hotel (according to the sign outside) I might have been a little dissapointed but for the price we paid it was a very nice hotel. The room and bathroom were modern but lacking character and relatively small. However we slept well (quiet, not too much light, decent bed) which is all that really matters.

The breakfast was OK though the pastries didn't taste very fresh.

My only other small complaint is that the luggage storage area didn't seem very secure (in the open at the bottom of the stairs where many people might pass by) so I wouldn't leave anything valuble there.

We were only passing through Milan so the location close to the Milan Centrale train station was perfect. It isn't a good neighborhood so not recommended for anyone actually visiting the city. We chose Club Hotel also because it had quad rooms for our family with two adult children so it was economical. The weather in late June was warm but the room thermostat was locked at a temperature a bit too warm for comfort, especially with four adults in one room. We were happy with the price and the breakfast buffet was satisfying.

Hotel clean and nice, bathroom nice, yes wifi cost 5 euro password is your room number and last name or want free go out side across street on corner. Breakfast was great staff at breakfast was helpful. The front desk guy stupid and not so helpful he wouldn't let me check out the nite before because I was leaving the next day... He sent me on a wild goose case for last supper tickets. When the museum is closed on Monday. The hotel is close to rail station.

First of all, I must say the area this hotel is in- which is close to the Milan Centrale train station- is a terrible area. We thought we were going to get mugged walking to the hotel by the bums sitting outside who were fighting with each other and throwing things at people walking by.

We were booked to stay at the Hotel Demo but after arriving at the Hotel they told us we were actually staying at their "sister" hotel around the corner-- Club Hotel. We had read about this in the reviews but stupidly booked anyways. We were not notified of the change ahead of time. When we arrived at the hotel, there were about 4 people working the front desk... none of which were very friendly. They asked for our passports and since they were "busy," asked to keep them and for us to come back down in 30 minutes when they had time to process them. Once we finally made it to the room, we could barely get the door unlocked. The room had a flat screen tv but yet no updated bedding or window fixtures. The cleanest part of the room was the bathroom. Our window was broken-- luckily we were on the third floor and were able to wedge something against it. We did not feel safe here in any way. We also moved a piece of furniture in front of the door as well. The place was very loud... you could hear people coming and going at all hours of the night. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. We have stayed in many hostels around the world that were safer and cleaner than this place. This is our only complaint out of the 8 total places we stayed on our trip.

I chose Club Hotel because of its proximity to Centrale Stazione, its price, and the fact that it has triple rooms. I was traveling with my sister and my brother (all of us between the ages of 18 and 25) and we found Club Hotel to be a perfect fit.

The hotel is in an excellent location - less than a 10 minute walk from Central Station (so close to the metro, trains, and shuttles to the airports) and the neighborhood seemed safe. The staff was friendly when we checked in, and later when we had questions about internet access. Our room was nothing special, but it was very clean, spacious, and we had a wide range of television channels... if you're interested in watching Italian television. Also, air conditioning! That helped to cool the room in the June heat.

One of the best parts was the breakfast spread in the morning. There was a wide range of breakfast treats! It was the perfect way to start our day.

I would recommend this hotel to any budget traveler who isn't looking for too many frills in Milano.

As two couples, we just needed a hotel for the night near the main train station and wasn't so sure about the Club Hotel after reading some not overly glowing reviews on here. We however found it excellent value for money and very convenient for the train station.

The guy on reception was very pleasant on arrival, we were very early and one room was ready so we could drop our belongings in there - but before we'd actually left to explore, we found the other room was ready which was perfect. Our particular rooms looked much better in reality than the photos on the site - very comfortable, good bed and a good shower, air con etc. Whilst there were no spectacular views, our room actually had a nice scene down a typical Italian looking street.

The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful in pointing out the nearest ATM, Metro station with map and where to change to get to the Fiera Rho and somewhere to eat (which was lovely for lunch around the corner), employing a nice degree of charm and humour when pronouncing "you are now in Italy, everywhere is good to eat!" - although from previous trips we know this is far from the truth! Still, personality is nice to experience sometimes!

Upon returning fairly late from a show, we found the bar to still be open and we were furnished with a beer which were only 3 Euro's each, not bad for a hotel bar. A sound nights sleep and a very good breakfast before away to the Train Station for an early train to Florence - basically, a very pleasurable experience and also excellent value for money.

One thing to note is that the lift was out of service to take you down to reception for some reason (absolutely fine for getting up to your room) - but we just happily used the stairs anyway - maybe something to consider if you have any mobility problems, but it could've just been temporary for while we were there.

It's not a five star hotel, but it was perfect for 71 Euros per room per night (with breakfast).

This hotel is cheap and not so cheeful but for one night stay it was fine.

Like other reviewers have said the staff aren't exactly happy to see you, quite surly chaps to be honest.

You have to hand in your keys whenever you want to leave the hotel which I thought was very odd. The room was small but clean and had air conditioning which was a big bonus. Our room was towards the back of the hotel which was good because it was quiet.

Breakfast is very basic and completely self-service. No one even shows you to your table, but at 85 euros (through booking.com) what more can you really expect?
