This is supposed to be a four stars hotel...therefore, you don't expect to find yellowish wallpaper or very old bedcover or - even worse - a heating system so antiquate that does not allow to
choose your temperature, but only blow a little warm air.

The room I got was probably about 9 sqm, with a single bed next to the wall, very basic furnitures from the 70s and very humid/stiff air. The cost for this little place was about 155 Euros for one night....inacceptable for such a treatement.

I would be curious to know when is the last time that this hotel got a check from some Hotel Stars Rating Authorities....When it happened, they definitely did not show their rooms on the 5th floor. These cannot be evaluated as a 4 Stars Hotel for sure.

Breakfast was basic but ok.

The only very positive point of this place is the stuff working in there! They are all extremely nice and they try to accomodate people requests at their best. They are polite and kind.

My mother and I spent 5 nights in the hotel in October 2013 and absolutely loved the location. Close to the Duomo and Galleria and underground Metro. Buffet breakfast was great with really lovely staff. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable but a little dated. Would definitely stay here again next time in Milan

Room Tip: The rooms on Level 9 (top floor) appeared to be a lot more spacious

In general, hotel is OK. The main issue is that it is overused and needs quite a bit of renovation. It looks as if a "cash cow", which is being used by many due to reasonable cost and good location. Having said that, there are several good things that I'd like to mention: (1) location (it is near to Duomo and a tourist bus stop), (2) helpful staff, and (3) spacious, especially by the EU standards, rooms. Breakfast is OK too. Overall, I wold not stay there for more than a couple of nights, unless you travel for business.

I stayed at this hotel in May with family.
On the positive side: the hotel is extremely central, the staff does their best to be helpful including with young kids and you can get some very reasonable rates.
On the negative side the hotel is really looking tired. The rooms are old and so are also the common areas. But to be honest you won't find those prices if the hotel were to go through a renovation. So all taken into account it is an interesting deal if you are looking for something conveniently located in central Milan.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel and we were impressed by the location and room size of this hotel.

It is located behind Duomo cathedral! Parking is available in the nearby garage (they have valet parking). Rooms are great, with large windows and huge bathroom. Common areas in hotel are a bit dark.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!

Pros- good location-close to sites Duomo etc and shopping. Room was large for European Standards. Bathroom was spacious and beds were queen sized.
Price of stay very reasonable.

Cons- hotel sort of old school. You need to use regular keys.
No irons in room. We had to pay to have out clothes ironed
One of the major issues I had regarded our taxi back to MXP.
We asked person at reception to call us a taxi around 6 am. One would expect persons working there to have guests best interest at hand. Hotel staff member directed us to a taxi that was not marked. On the initial start of journey I realised car had no meter. On arrival to MXP driver demanded 150 euros. Being tourists and not wanting trouble we paid. This is robbery. I was very disappointed in this hotel for this. Because of this I would never stay here again

Great location. You're within a 3 minute walk from the Duomo and all of the CROWDS that brings, but yet away so that you can get away from the noise. Very easy to get to the metro. (Buy the unlimited ticket for only £8.50 and travel for an entire weekend. Very nice staff. Very helpful. Clean and comfortable. Not fancy rooms but the beds are very comfortable. I would stay again.
