This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the station so is convenient for travellers. The rooms are clean but the one we stayed in was very small with hardly any room for our two suitcases. the staff were very helpful with directions and allowing us to hold our suitcases for a day after we checked out. a number of good value restaurants are close by. Breakfast was ok but needs a bit more variety.

location is good, just across the street fro
train station. ok rooms. but if you plan to have breakfast after 08:00, there will be none left for you. Very small amounts only enough for the very first guests every morning.

Booked using BA miles and some cash on top so it was ok for me. Spent a night transiting Milan.
Clean hotel. Safe stay.
Helpful staff member on reception.
Not worth buying breakfast here.
Location is excellent - very very close to Central train station.
The duomo is about a 30-40 minute walk.

Chose this hotel because it was close to the Milan Central station and we had an early start planned. There are a good number of similar small hotels located nearby and this was only 5 minutes walk from the station.
Room was small and basic with clean modernized bathroom which was VERY small. Room and bathroom had been over sanitized/deodorized which is always a worry - what are they trying to disguise? Air conditioning worked well as it was quite a hot night but the bed and pillows quite hard.
Typical of many of the old small Italian hotels we have stayed in but suited our needs. Not suitable for extended stays I would suggest. Didn't use any of the hotel's facilities (lounge, bar, etc) but they seemed adequate if a little "cosy".
Notwithstanding, would recommend for its convenience, cost and cleanliness but beware the deodorizer!

Dear Guests,
Thank you very much for having reviewed our hotel.
We always remind our guest that is always possible to ask our staff to switch the room for a bigger one.
Furthermore we'll take in consideration your claim about the "parfume abuse"

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July 2012. Very convenient location next to the central train station. The twin room (No 218) was very good: clean, spacious enough for two adult persons, with very comfortable beds, working air-condiotioner, fridge etc. It was very quiet until the moment when some other people checked in next to us - at that moment we realised that this hotel (it is a common problem with Italian hotels) does not have proper sound isolation (we could hear every single move and sound from the next room). Breakfast was very basic but sufficient for two females :-). Unfortunately coffee was not good at all: neither espresso, nor cappuccino. All staff members are smiley, polite and positive, including a talkative lady serving breakfast (we really enjoyed watching her). This hotel is a truly good value for money!

My husband and I stayed in room 329 which was at the end of a narrow hall. It shared only one wall with another room. We found the room fairly spacious with a large wardrobe for storage. Bed was king size. The TV got about 1-2 English channels. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, our first night was restless due to very loud noise. At around 11:15 PM, about 15 minutes after turning off our lights to go to sleep, we heard the sound of high heels loudly walking closer to our room. Then we heard someone fiddling with our door. By the time my husband jumped out of bed and got to the door, the person was already walking away. Within minutes, we heard the footsteps again, but it sounded like it was coming from another floor. Once the person keyed into their room, it was non-stop TV, loud talking, laughing etc. By midnight, we called the front desk. They did look into the noise and found it was coming from the room below. The noise stopped once the front desk person went to their door and asked them to quiet down. Sadly, they decided to start up the noise again at 5:15 AM. Once again, the front desk person had to go ask them to quiet down. We were grateful that the front desk person was so responsive, but it made for a miserable night. We were told my the morning hotel staff that the noisy guests would not be staying the next night. We got the impression that the hotel kicked them out, but that was not specifically stated. Anyway, we were happy with how the hotel handled it. We did hear noise the following night from a neighboring room, however, that noise stopped very early and did not disturb our sleep.
Free breakfast? I see this place is listed with free breakfast. That would have been nice to know when we checked in. I had booked several hotels for this one trip that I had lost track of which ones came with breakfast and which ones cost extra (which we had opted out of). I guess we should have asked, but since it wasn't mentioned on check in that breakfast was included in our room, we went out for breakfast each morning.

Dear Sirs,

We are very sorry your neighbours were noisy. Our staff, if informed as you did, can ask some noisy customers to decrease their volume and we appreciate you liked it.
About the breakfast, as our rooms normally come with breakfast with the BB formula, we usually don't inform our guests when their breakfast is included. On the other hand, when breakfast is not included, we inform them about the breakfast pricelist.

We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again.
