We booked this hotel on the strengths of other reviews on this site. Had a pleasant stay, but didn't think the hotel was anything special. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient and spoke very good English. We were situated in the apartments at the back of the hotel - quiet location, with minimal noise from the courtyard (where staff members often stood and smoked). The apartment room was fairly small, but adequate. Room was serviced daily, although we had to ask for milk each day for tea/coffee, as it was never replaced. Free drink in the bar on Thursday evening, which was a nice touch.
The location is very good - in a nice neigbourhood with a variety of good restaurants and coffee shops within a 5-10 minute walk, and a supermarket nearby. Surrounding restaurants are much cheaper than the hotel restaurant, which seemed overpriced. The tram line is directly outside the hotel (number 1 or 19) and takes about 20 mins to the centre of Milan, for 1 euro.
Overall, well located hotel which was clean and served it's purpose as a base for exploring Milan. Probably more suited to business travellers than to those on a romantic getaway.More
