“Great Hotel with fantastic service”

This boutique hotel had a lot to offer, the rooms where modern, spacious and very clean. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of food, from fresh fruit to bacon and eggs. The espresso coffee was excellent. Although the Hotel caters more for the business vistor our 12 year old daughter was made to feel welcome. The trip into Piazza Duomo was a very simple 10 minute tram ride with the tram station convenienly located 1 minute from the hotel entrance.

There was four family members staying in two double rooms. The moment we stepped into the foyer and greeted by the Frontline staff we were impressed. Nothing was too much trouble for them to help us with some queries. It is on the No1 Tram stop into the Galeria and Duomo. My husband and I had a room facing on the main street and I always have windows open as opposed to air con and could not believe how quiet it was. Sleep was comfy, room spacious by European standards and a very clean shower, toilet and plenty of towels. Coffee and tea were welcome in the room. BUT the best of all was the breakfast. Tasty, plenty and in a very nice breakfast dining room. A long way to go back but if we do have a return trip to Milan - Enterprise will be for us. PS We will have to go back because we didnt get to see Church and Dominican Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms are modern, good sized and furnished with nice design. The breakfast buffet is amazing, everything fresh with plenty of choices of all kind of food. The rooms and the whole hotel are very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. As the only (very small) downer we noticed that the English skills at the reception could improve a bit - but this was compensated with the friendly, italian cordialness.

We can recommend this hotel and looking forward to return.

We stayed 2 nights at the Enterprise Hotel in August 2011. Despite other reviewers' mention of it, we were still overwhelmed by the breakfast. The spread is massive and includes everything from fresh omelets, to cake, to bread, meat, fruit, honeys... you name it. Go late and fuel up for the day.

We were disappointed to discover after arriving on a late flight and making the trek out from the center to the hotel that the hotel itself had no late-night food options other than (expensive, limited) room-service, and the waiter at the bar telling us he could offer a microwave pizza (we passed). If you're coming in late, eat on the way.

Our room (5th floor) was small but very quiet. Though the elevator beeps like mad at every stop, we couldn't hear it inside the room.

Tram 1 provided easy access to the center and all the sights. We'd stay here again, especially if we got another good rate on DHR.com that included the breakfast.

I stayed with my wife and two kids in 2 connecting rooms in the "apartments" behind the hotel. The hotel is comprised of a building with regular hotel rooms and 9 "apartments" in an adjacent builing behind, accessible through the hotel's patio and back door.
I wasn't clear about this arrangement before hand, but there were no connecting rooms in the building anyway. Although it would have been nice if reservation made the difference clear since you cannot determine this on their website.
The rooms could be more polished if they put in a bit more effort. For example, all the cords of the TV and Satellite box were just hanging around and not hidden as is the case in other hotels.
Basement parking at Eur 18 overnight.
Both rooms at Eur 150 total per night including breakfast, which is plentiful. There's only 1 restaurant in the hotel.
The hotel is not in the center but only takes 15 mins by street tram #1 which has a stop by the hotel and at the Duomo.
Like most (tourist) churches in Italy, the Duomo requires modest attire when entering. Entrance to the church is free but you have to pay to go up to the roof (lift Eur 7 while stairs is Eur 5). Warning: in the piazza there are lots of pigeons that kids will have fun feeding, but don't let yourself be forced by men offering bird seed to you then hassle you for a Eur 2 payment. I said no to such individual, who still forced the feed onto my hand. I promptly returned this and firmly said no to his asking for payment. Yes I know it is not much but hey it's the principle.
There is a good and cheap kebab place around the corner from the hotel and a small grocery further down that street.
The distance from the center may be the reason for the reasonable price. Tram is Eur 1 per way or Eur 3 for a 24 hour period. Taxi to and from the center or the train station is about Eur 9-11.

Overall my girlfriend and I both enjoyed the hotel - service was excellent, the room was spacious and clean, wifi was free (which for some reason tons of hotels still like to charge and arm & a leg for... but in my opinion should be free or expect people to downgrade your hotel rating!).

The only thing I would flag is that the hotel is a 20 minute trolly car ride into the city center (I timed it just to be fair). This isn't actually that far.. but because it is a trolly car.. it takes a while to get there. Given how expensive taxis are.. figured this is worth considering. For my lady.. she didn't really love sitting in an trolly without any A/C for 20 minutes in the height of summer.

Otherwise everything was great... and would like to give special thanks to Martina at the frontdesk. Her service was particularly outstanding after their night desk forgot to put us into the wake-up call system and as a result we missed our 10am bus ride to the outlets (a 40 Euro mistake). She stayed calm.. refunded us the bus fair and happily worked to help us find a good alternative way to get to the outlets. Really appreciate her efforts... outstanding and she was probably the best service we encountered on our trip to Europe.

Thanks so much for your help Martina!

BTW - the hotel dinner/breakfast are outstanding. Some of the best food around is right downstairs... if you are debating paying the 10 euros for breakfast... don't hesitate... completely worth it. You'll pay 40-50 euros for anything close outside of the hotel.

Rooms are clean with all necessary supplies and media. Free wifi in the rooms. Front desk reception decent for Italian standards.
The hotel is located a bit far from all the attractions and the main trainstations if you are travelling by public transport. It takes about a 10 to 15 minute tram ride to get to the metro station in Cadorna and much longer to the central station. However, if you plan to go by car the hotel has parking for 18eu/ night.
The hotel has a spa on the top floor but if its not included in your rate it is an extra 15eu a day per person. I didn't have the chance to go to the spa but it has some steam rooms and hot tubs, but no spa services from what I learned.
The hotel's restaurant is supposed to be excellent but we did not get the chance to try it.
Overall comfortable and convenient, and in a decent neighborhood but more removed from the city center.
