“A fish restaurant to die for!”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

Delicious meal, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere.
We had a selection of antipasti, starting with their traditional crab shell filled with crab meat, then a selection of raw and cooked fish. Excellent pasta courses and grilled fish mains. All really fresh and absolutely delicious.

“Crab of course and authentic Puglian Cuisine”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

This restaurant is located in the heart of designer land in Via Tortona, tough to park nearby but worth the walk. The owner and waiters give a warm welcome and the tables are already laden with fresh crudite' before you sit down. Distinctive dark green olive oil makes a great dip so you can munch away as you peruse the menu.
As an entrée we often get the crab, meticulously shelled and mixed presented in it's shell, it's divine.............
Last time we decided to try the pasta and were not disappointed, the combination of clams and chickpeas was surprisingly delicate, and the cavatelli with mussels was stronger in flavour but perfectly balanced with the pasta.

We usually leave the choice of the fish for main course to what the catch of the day is. Absolutely fresh we had a blackspot seabream, grilled to perfection accompanied by what should have been roast potatoes but were a shade lacking in the crispy department.

Deserts are a choice of three usually the same ones. Tiramisu with fruit, apple tart and chocolate cake, all worth tasting in fact we have a slice of all three!

One of the things I love about this restaurant is the space between tables, and the freshness of the produce, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. The wine list and the wine not on the list is also worth scrutinising, the choice is varied and the wines are super.
Although the quality of the food is excellent the service is relaxed and attentive, feel free to drop in wearing jeans and still feel comfy.

“great hide restaurant (only fish)”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

Granseola is one of the hided restaurant in Milan.

Ambience very nice and service fantastic.
it is a fix set (55 euro) starting with a fantastic Crab (for two person) then each have a choice of starter, first, second and desert.

My favorite, beside the crab, before you start, you have a basket of vegetable that you can eat with oil and balsamico... fantastic (so i do not eat bread...)

Wine list is quite good, white and red, even if it is difficult to order red for the type of food... however, it is actually very good red selection.

it is good for date but, professional dinner will be fine (light, a little dark...) however, i sow many times meeting dinner.

the owner, very nice, is always suggesting nice plate and the all staff is really lovely.
Only dinner.

Definitely, one of my favorite in Milan.
