This hotel is in the Piazza Repubblica. It's a walkable distance from Centrale Station, or one stop on the metro which is just outside the hotel. Easy to get to the Duomo on the same line, or on foot if you want to take in the atmosphere and window shop as you go.
The hotel is spotless, peaceful and the staff are all charming and very helpful. Rooms are a good size, excellent bed linen and the windows open a few inches so you get some fresh air.
Breakfast is extra and very expensive unless you can secure a deal when booking. The standard buffet is 40 Euro per head. This is ridiculously expensive for what's available. The hot option is kept hot, no short order chef in attendance, and the cereal choice is very limited. Ok so this is Italy and they don't do much at breakfast but... There are coffee shops nearby but nothing special.
Don't let my moans about an expensive breakfast you off. This is a very good hotel and worth a visit.More
