Having visited the adjacent restaurant a couple of nights earlier we dropped in the bar for a lunchtime break from sightseeing. Firstly the view of the Duomo is great and could only be bettered from the outside terrace(weather permitting). This is a meeting place for friends out shopping and a sort of place for 'ladies who lunch' in a casual manner. It is busy and again it pays to get there early. The drinks are reasonable value and the food certainly looked tasty and well presented. I agree with previous contributors that the service can be a bit random but this is almost par for the course on the continent--getting a bill can take nearly as long as your meal!--We weren't rushed so it wasn't a problem but I can understand the comments. I did however enjoy my brief bar interlude.
