ok hotel, ok price. staff were very friendly. internet on tv in room and english channels. we arrived at the hotel by taxi at night. were horrified at first. the area looked like the ghetto!. but during the day we discovered it was an ok area. its not in the centre of milan, but only a £12 taxi ride. apparantly the metro is a few minute walk...... but im lazy! breakfast in the hotel was fantastic.
would stay in the hotel again, if i couldnt find anything cheaper. milan itself was great. i felt a llot safer here than rome!!

This was quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We arrived in the morning and the very unfriendly and rude receptionist greeted us with a simple nod and asked our name. Not a good start, especially as we'd been up since 4.30am and our flight was delayed! We were given the keys to a tiny room, which was unbearably hot. The room was dark and dingy and smelled very stale. We opened the windows and went straight out as the place was making my partner feel sick. This start set the pattern for the week - spend as little time as possible in the hotel. Despite the advertised air conditioning, we were informed that they had no control to switch it on and were advised to open a window which looked out over a very busy junction in a very major road. The staff had the attitude of 'what do you want me to do about it?' and offered no apologies. Our sheets were not changed for 3 nights despite them being dirty and due to the windows being left open we received several insect bites. If you are considering this hotel then heed my advice - DON'T STAY HERE! This hotel came dangerously close to ruining an otherwise superb experience of an amazing city.

This hotel was booked for its price, and price alone. Milan is not a cheap city to stay in ($130 CAD/nite for a budget hotel).

My experience in Milan was perhaps coloured by my experience at this hotel--my least favourite throughout Europe. I was a budget traveller, going by transit, and this hotel is better for those who drive as it's a good 15 walk away from the nearest subway, and that requires walking through a safe (but sketchy looking) overpass.

Room was small, but clean. Not many eateries or shops nearby so if you want to walk around for eats it's not a good idea. Eat in the city and then return only to sleep as this is what the hotel is only good for.

Room was ready when we arrived at 11.00 am.. We could choose rooms (2x1 personsbed, or 1x2 personsbed).

Great service from receptionist: speaks English excellent, advised us to go to the last supper eventhough we knew that it was sold out 2 weeks ahead (and we were succesful and saw the last supper within 20 minutes!).

Bath in bathroom was not expected. Room is not big, but big enough.

50 meters from Metro (subway) and busses; 2 metrostations away from nightlife: eating, drinking (pta.Genova).

Start of highway before hotel doesn't give noise as long as room is closed, but there's airco in the room.

Only problem was the english guys in the next room, who came home at 3-4 am and talking so loudly (because of alcohol probably) that I could understand what there saying.

We read other trip advisor recommendations for this hotel, and seeing the price of this hotel compared with others in Milan this was the only one in our budget.
The hotel is just by the Famagosta Metro station, which i think was 5 stations away from Cardona Station which is the main one we used.
The reception staff couldn't have been more helpful, they were keen to help us navigate the maps and sights. The rooms were small but clean. The decor was not 'hip' but the room was only a base, and it was clean which was the main thing.
The breakfast in the morning was a buffet, comprised of pastries, ham, cheese, cereal, fruit. It was lovely.
The only thing was, the walls were thin, so you could hear people getting up...not a problem for us as we were out and about in the mornings, but you wouldn't get a lie in with peace and quiet.
All in all, enjoyed staying at the hotel.

I booked through [-] and the previous review in tripadvisor for this hotel was very helpful.

It's a nice small clean hotel with TV and A/C and minibar in every room. We stayed for 7 days in August.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't want/afford to pay the expensive hotels in the city centre. The underground station is in 3 minutes walk and you are only 5 stations from Castello.

Breakfast was OK (although some noisy Asian groups wipe out everything on the buffet in minutes and the staff struggles to replenish). The personell was nice and helpful and english speaking.

We stayed in Dei Fiori for 3 nights in June.
The hotel is in not in the center of Milan but very close to the undergound so it's absolutely no problem moving around.
We had a problem finding the hotel on the first time but after that it was very easy.
The hotel is the 3 first floors of a big apartment building. Note that you can actually see the building when you come out of the undergroung (see the first pic).
The room was a bit small but very clean. We had a mini fridge and a tv. The bathroom was also small with a tiny shower but really clean as well.
The breakfast although it is advertised a simple "cold buffet" was actually quite good.
What we didnt like was that the person in the reception actually made us feel a bit unwelcome.
On the day we were checking out though it was someone else at the reception and he was very friendly and helpfull
