“Good location great breakfast!!!”
Reviewed December 14, 2013

Very good hotel, nice rooms but small for a family of 4. Average service, we had a greatest breakfast, Italian dishes. Very good location 15 min. Walk to Duomo . No need to take transportation to the center. Mostly recommended

Great hotel in a perfect location for exploring Milan. From here we could walk to all the sights, bars, restaurants etc. and we did not even have to take one bus or taxi.
Nice room, small but clean.
Breakfast OK. mostly continental but tasty.
No free wifi.
Excellent shower.
Would recommend.

We stayed here for three nights at the end of October/early November. I choose it as it had ok reviews in a good location in Milan for the historical center while not charging an extortionate price. We got up for breakfast twice and it was perfectly adequate - a selection of cereals, toast, tinned and fresh fruit, yogurt etc. The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. In terms of the location, it was about a 15 minute walk to the Duomo through one of the main shopping streets, or five minutes if you hired one of the 'BikeMi' bikes from the city's cycle hire scheme (there's a bike station very near to the hotel). The service from the check in/check out staff was very good.

Reading reviews when people start saying terrible, awful etc always gives concerns when you have booked a hotel! We arrived at the hotel and the reception staff were friendly and cracking jokes... I would say the hotel is the equivalent of a good Travelodge in the UK. It is true the room was small but I knew this before I booked it so cant complain! The location of the hotel was perfect for us - there is some great nightlife a short walk away and then Milan's main attractions where about a twenty minute walk maximum - it really was the perfect way to see the city. The shower was really good and we were on the 7th floor so the view was amazing. The breakfast was pretty basic but then again we turned up at 10.25 and breakfast stopped at 10.30 so we just had what was left. If you are looking for a good base with a great location then this hotel ticks the box - if you want luxury then look somewhere else but for a weekend trip it is an ideal place to stay!

I have to say that this hotel is the most dirty i have ever been. The pictures on their website has nothing to do with reality. The bed is uncomfortable, there are lots of dirt on walls, inside of the minibar is also dirty. Bathroom floors and all top counters are dusty.

this is conveniently located in the centre of milan, within walking distance of the cathedral, castle and santa maria della grazie.

located on a side road, away from the hustle and bustle.

good clean room, good breakfast. toilet rather small. electrical fixtures were hanging loose while we were there.

luggage store.

lift small. barely enough for three people.

all in all, good for a short stay.

most hotels in europe seem to be plagued by a staffing problem.

This place is a horror. Three stars, forget about it. Not even a nice bed and breakfast. At my arrival (hot saturday night in September 2013) no AC and dirty bathrooms. Front desk please come upstairs to check this mess. No thank you, it would be "pointless" they said. They gave us a FAN (yes, a FAN!!) and informed us that Front Desk Manager is off duty for the weekend. When Booking.com try to contact them to try to get someone to clean the bathroom, they just did not answer the phone. By the way drainage in the shower does not work either... if you are considering this hotel, forget it it's just a very BAD IDEA.
