“A great luxurious hotel”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel and had a great experience exploring Milan.
First of all, the hotel located near a tram station and a metro station. So you can reach anywhere easily.
Furthermore, the hotel looks very well designed and clean. The rooms aren't big, but they have anything you can ask for. Including a coffee-tea tray with mugs and a kettle, which we used every night and was a great perk.
The breakfast was superb, the best one we ate in Italy ever. Huge selection of anything you can imagine eating for breakfast...
The reception hall had also nice perks like a library shelf, which is nice. Also, every evening, when we got back to the hotel, there was a free tea corner with croissants you could grab.

Location is perfect and in a part of Milan where restaurant prices aren't ridiculous.

Staff are amazing.

Breakfast food is very good.

Rooms are modern and also, amazing. Yes they are small but you are in a city and how much time are you actually going to spend there?

Supermarket is five minutes away. McDonalds is five minutes away. Metro is two minutes away.

It is also within walking distance to all attractions (and yes by walking distance within fifteen minutes you can be at Duomo). At the end of the road is the longest strip of shops in Milan.

This hotel is BRILLIANT.

Well located in a central position two stops on the Metro from Duomo and a 15 minute walk to the central station. Some nice bars within a few mins walk of the hotel. Very nice breakfast. Reasonably priced bar. Comfortable room. As a city we found Milan to be very expensive for eating out and drinks - a small beer or glass of wine 5Euro pretty much everywhere.

Room Tip: We were overlooking a central courtyard. Nothing much to see out of the window but very quiet.

Hotel just walkable from Centrale station with cases. A bit further to the Duomo but still pleasant,

Well priced stay booked through otel.com. Room on the small side but sufficient for our purposes.

Excellent breakfast (that I hadn't thought was included) and complementary coffee and pastries in reception presumably as this is a Best Western hotel.

Helpful and friendly staff esp when our room safe wouldn't open and we were in a rush.

Room Tip: Shop around the internet for prices.

Very good hotel. Although the rooms were quite small, and the corridors were very narrow, the other things were very good. The location is in the middle of the central railway station, and the city centre. The rooms were clean. The breakfast menu was rich, and intercontinental. The staff was friendly and helpful. The value of the hotel is excellent.

We stayed at the Hotel Felice Casati in May 2013 for 3 nights. There was a promotion at the time that allowed us to receive our last night free, which was the best offer I could find in the city for a hotel of similar quality.

The hotel is located within walking distance from the central train station (about 10 minutes walk) and about 30 minutes walk from the Duomo. If you intend to take day trips out of the city, this hotel can serve as a convenient homebase. However, the transit to the city center was a bit longer than I expected, even with the use of the Metro, and did not serve us well for sightseeing or getting a good feel of the city. There were also not very many restaurants in the area, but the small grocery store located nearby came in handy during our stay.

We had no complaints with our room. It was quiet, clean and relatively comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the (generous!) complimentary breakfast with many hot and cold options. The complimentary wi-fi was appreciated as well as the free apples and cookies in the lobby.

We didn’t quite understand why we needed to leave our room key with the front desk every time we left the hotel. It was a bit bothersome to check in/out with someone throughout the day.

Given the value and the amenities, I would consider staying at this hotel again, but I would likely try a hotel closer to the city center on our next visit.

Stayed at this Hotel over the Grand Prix weekend, so paid a premium for the room (average £150 per night, including tourist tax), booked through Trivago website and linked into Otels site and found no problems.
Hotel is located about a 10/15 minute walk from Milano Centrale Station, which is also the main drop off point for airport bus's. All in all, the transport links in the city/airports are excellent.
The Hotel is also only a 20 minute walk to Duomo Square. The nearest Metro station is Porta Venezia Located on Corsa Buenos Aries, about a 5 minute walk away.
I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Milan. The staff were always polite and and helpful, the rooms and public areas were cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices for various tastes. A nice touch, is the availability of pastries biscuits and fruit throughout the day and evening located in the lobby for free. Our room was acceptable, although i felt the bedroom was a little small, the room was well equipped with a fridge, safe and TV with premium channels. The bathroom was also well laid out and fitted with a double size shower.

Room Tip: Specify smoking/non smoking. Odd number rooms have external windows. Not sure if even number rooms h...
