“Good snack place”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013

Most reviews are from people who mistook this place as a lunch place instead of a snack place. When I am in New York, I don't rate Mc Donald's as a proper lunch place either!!! Americans, please get real and take these places for what they are. In this case a really good snack place. Service was very kind and we all had a Lasagna. It was really perfect and tasty, except for the size, but again, this is not a restaurant as such.

“Paid 37 euro for nothing. 5 euro for covercharges”

I had lasagne bolognese. Even a poststamp is bigger! My wife had pasta with chicken and mushrooms. There was almost no chicken in it. I guess the chicken flew over. This restaurant is a
tourist trap!!!!

“Biggest Mistake of Our Trip”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

We had hiked down to the Duomo from our distant hotel, the sun was setting and we were famished beyond belief. The big enclosed seating area outside this restaurant with its large video menu was just too inviting for us to resist. Early in our Italian adventure, we made several mistakes here. The biggest was not carefully looking at prices, particularly of drinks and wine. We literally paid for that later. The base restaurant is more of a bar/gelato shop across the way, although there is a second floor there with a few tables on a balcony looking out. Most restaurant patrons sit where we did. It was freezing that night and we needed the big tree-like space heater to keep us warm. We should have eaten inside. Things didn't go well the whole meal. The bruschetta was carbonized and should never have been served. My wife ordered seafood linguini, but got spaghetti instead. My linguine con vongole was pedestrian with few clams and little taste. Our friends reported good ravoli. The highlight of the meal was the gelato, perhaps not surprisingly, since this was, after all, a gelato shop. The bill at the end of the meal was stratospheric. We learned our lesson and from that point on during our 2 week trip watched prices more carefully, and for the most part stuck with house wines. Every cloud does have a silver lining.

“Average meal, expensive drinks”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2013

On our way from Duomo we were looking for a good place to have a lunch. We were attracted by big screen menu of caffe Aperol and we liked choice. Risotto di mare (13 euro) was big and quite nice, cotoletta was not bad as well. But beware of the price of drinks, especially coctails. Tea 5 euro, Sanpelegrino water 3.5 euro (0.48 euro in a supermarket), coctails - 12 euro.

“Speechless!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Great place!
Next to Galleria V.Emmanuelle and opposite to Duomo makes you feel great. Minimal decoration, comfortable chairs, normal prices (8 euros each drink)...Take into consideration that it isn't the appropriate restaraunt to go if you are really hungry but a good choice if you want to have a nice view of Milan and a drink or light lunch...I will be there soon!
