In the morning just for a vey short italian coffee, or in the late afternoon for a Campari just with seltz. A tipical milanese way to enjoy time. Try it with the view of Duomo cathedral.

This is the place where Campari was invented. Why drink anything else here. At €10 for a Campari Soda including a few respectable canapes, it is even relatively good value for the Galleria.
It is also a great place for people watching from fashionistas to Japanese tourists taking pictures of each other whilst taking pictures of each other. So rest your feet after all that hard work being a tourist and enjoy.

This restaurant is located in one of the best spots in Milan. Normally closed to dinner, we had it due to a group reservation.
Food was good, service was nice and place is charming.
Expensive due to the location.

Right on the corner of the "Galleria" on Piazza Duomo you'll find one of the most interesting places to have an aperitivo in Milan: the "Camparino in galleria". It has allegedly been around since 1867 and was founded by the man who invented the Campari drink and still preserves the atmosphere of days long gone.
Even though it's right smack in the middle of the city centre (and on one of its most important landmarks) it has more than normal prices for coffee etc, but also the aperitivo will just cost you 4,- to 4,50 € and you can benefit from the pastries, olives, crisps and any other food standing on the bar. Drink "de rigeur" is obviously any campari-based cocktail, but try the special rhubarb-based drink for a change.
Great place, very fair prices, excellent location.

The original Campari bar in Milano, right by the Gallery and the Duomo. Taste the real-deal at a perfect spot in Milano.
