On first appearance, with the slick group of staff at the pavement-side, eager to usher you into this place, you would think that this is a good set-up.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Being seated on the pavement, the smiles of the staff disappeared, as we were given large cocktails and directed to the food assembled inside. Again, at first glance, this looked good. But on closer inspection, with a plate in your hand as you plunge the serving spoon into a mass of pasta, it's quite clear that the focus is on quantity and definitely not quality.
The other half and I both took some of the aubergine bake, and from two servings, we pulled three black hairs approximately 50cm long. I didn't eat another morsel at this place - and if you've any sense of taste or self-preservation, I would avoid this "restaurant-bar" like a dose of the Ebola virus.
