The food here is absolutely wonderful with solid Italian recipes especially from the Liguria region (fish & pesto). Very welcoming staff, and the waiter clearly knowledgeable about the menu. The decor inside is interesting (nothing special) and the spacing between tables decent.
But essentially what makes this place so good is the food itself - octopus salad as a starter, pasta with pesto as a second, and a delicious tiramisu to finish. Of course, as this place is 1 min walk from the Duomo, it is more expensive than other restaurants in Milan. But fundamentally, you pay for what you get here.
Try it out if you want to take a break between visiting the Duomo and the visiting the shopping area.
