Friendly and helpful staff at check in and no waiting around. Very stylish surroundings from the moment you arrive. Excellent location just a 10 minute walk away from the magnificent Duomo, the best designer stores and La Scala. Everything is new and the hotel is kept super clean. Our room was kinda small but we are used to that and thats usually the case in hotels in most major cities anyway. Bathroom was beautiful and linens exceptionally good. The designer feel overall is really impressive and we loved it. Breakfast can be a bit overcrowded as others have said but we were up early and didn´t have to wait more than 3 minutes on only one occasion. Milan is everything we wanted it to be. Amazing buildings, galleries, stores, food and people and this hotel is a perfect choice for any visitor.

Ideal accommodations for our family of four - two rooms with a private entrance. Room 910 set up for parents with a king bed 909 for the kids with twins. The view from 910 above the rooftops was full on of the duomo which on the evening before Easter was lit like Cinderella's castle at Disney. Molta Bella!

The rooms were spacious by European standards and equipped with creature comforts like slippers by your bedside, plush oversized robes and a rain shower. The hotel provided umbrellas for those who forgot theirs at home. Of course, the free wifi was greatly appreciated. The only hotel that actually DELIVERED the advertised wifi during our stay in Italy.

Service was very impressive: front desk staff spoke countless languages, wait staff in e evening restaurant/ breakfast room were friendly and efficient. The bartender even recognized our plight one evening when our train arrived back in the city after a significant delay and arranged for the restaurant staff to serve us (politely) after normal hours. Our selection of pasta and risotto dishes were flavorful and reasonably priced.

The morning breakfast buffet was plentiful, healthy and diverse - delicious!

Location, while not in the heart of a touristy/entertainment district, was ideal -- a just a 5 minute walk from Crocetta subway station and 10 minutes' walk down via Romana from the Duomo through a safe area. Desk staff gave excellent directions.

Our only caveat: don't pull the cord in the shower thinking you are activating the exhaust vent; it's an emergency cord that generates a call for the hotel staff. Oops!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the Duomo. Room 910 was amazing!!!

Fantastic hotel just a 10 mins walk from the Duomo, the staff were excellent in every way. Room was very nice with everything you could want, not huge but just perfect, amazing rainfall shower. The restaurant is to be recommended with a very knowledgable and helpful staff, the food was just lovely. The reception staff were brilliant with restaurant recomendations and bookings. Altogether a most enjoyable place to stay, what a beautiful city and we were more than happy to return to our lovely hotel each day. We used taxi transfer to and from Malpensa Airport at a fixed price of 90 euros.

Elegant and informal at the same time with a general modern look and a sober atmosphere. Very nice, smiling staff who make you always feel welcome. Well thought room with big bathrooms. Breakfast offers a wide variety of both sweet and salty options and ...everything I had was beautiful and tasty!
Conveniently located at 15 minutes walking from the Dome Cathedral and the Teatro alla Scala in a very nice and elegant area of Milan.

My boyfriend and I stayed at uptown palace at the beginning of December as a start to our christmas celebrations and we were both very impressed by the friendly helpful staff and the beauty of the hotel.

If you looking for a sleek, upper class hotel then this is definitely the place to stay! I would rate the room 5/5 although being British I do enjoying adding milk to my tea and this was the only thing we was not provided with the complimentary tea and coffee selection.

Location is excellent you can either jump on the metro from two different lines straight into the heart of milan or you can take a 10 minute walk down the streets of milan, watch out for the trams! And try not to get lost there are many roads which all look the same. About a 16 minute taxi rude from airport.

The breakfast which was included with our purchase was delicious, a selection of hot and cold options and I must say if you have a sweet tooth the pastries are definitely a good option! Between 8-10.30am but it does get very busy so the earlier you attend the better.

The hotel had a calm relaxing atmosphere it was extremely clean and the maid comes into your room twice. The second time she prepares the bed for the evening and leaves you a chocolate present for when you have had a busy day sightseeing, which I found a lovely touch and made the hotel that little bit special

Price wise the hotel is more expensive then maybe other hotels and the food provided is also quite expensive I cannot comment on the food as we never ate in the restaurant within the hotel.

Milan itself is a lovely place full of art, history and culture, although there are many beautiful coffee shops with a variety of pastries I did find that when looking for a restaurant there was very limited options!! It felt that no one eats there and it's Italy I had the thought of indulging in pizzas and pastas but my thoughts were sadly wrong!

Overall a pleasant and successful trip thank you uptown palace!

Room Tip: The higher level you are the better the view! And there is less noise

Arrived Friday the 7th of December, the hotel M Gallery by Accor, is on Via Santa Sofia 10, approximately a 15 minute taxi ride from central railway station, and 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and the main shopping area of Vittorio Emanuele, La Rinascente department store etc. The hotel is about a year old, Check in was good, Room located on the 7th floor, and it was a deluxe room category. Reception staff and bellman were very helpful and polite, the concierge of Moroccan and Egyptian background was extremely helpful and friendly. The room I found to be very small in fact too small for my liking, very tight even for a couple, about 28 square meters. The bathrooms was well equipped however very small. Housekeeping did a good job, the room and in fact the whole hotel was spotless. The wireless Internet was the slowest I've ever experienced at a hotel, the free one offered at the lobby and the charged one in the room. I actually complained and they deducted it from the account. Breakfast on their 3rd floor restaurant was fairly good apart for the OJ, which tasted like water. You need however to go before 9am otherwise you will wait for a while until a table is available Overall a nice property. Will I stay again on my next visit to Milan. Most likely...

Room Tip: Ask for a larger room if possible

Very modern and tastefully designed hotel with small but convenient rooms. Everything spotlessly clean and generally new. The staff were helpful and friendly, and spoke excellent English. Breakfast too was good and offered variety and ran until 10.30 in the morning which is great for having a lie in. Hotel is about 10min walk to Milan cathedral, shops, restaurants and metro, but still in a quiet and peaceful enough area away from the crowds. Area seemed completely safe to walk around even at night. Definitely good value for money. Wifi on ground floor was sufficient to get emails, but could be improved on.
