“BEST PASTRIES IN MILAN”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

I was just wandering aimlessly in Milan one day in on 8th May, and stumbled into Princi - a restaurant cum pastry shop. The place was full, and a queue for tables was quite long.
So instead of waiting in line, I decided to purchase some take-aways.
The pasta sticks with olives, lasagne and strawberry cake that I had were just fabulous!!!
To get there: exit Piazza del Duomo from the left bottom corner (with the basilica behind you) to Via Torino. The lane first left, just before Foot Locker, is Via Speronari - number #6 is THE place! I though I might be lucky later that afternoon, but the queue was still there!

“horrible service”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

in ideal location and with standard Princi set up and well known delicacies we were really shocked with the way we were treated by staff. Unfortunately or fortunately never going back

“Best cafeteria style food ever”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

Everything is freshly made including the cheeses and pastas. Multiple pizzas, pastas, paninis and salads to choose from. Fantastic pastries. We had to go back. The second time was after the lunch hour and so much less crowded.

“Great bakery, good location and music”
Reviewed May 9, 2013

The Princi near the Moscova metro station in Milan is a really nice bakery, the location in the small piazetta is nice and the music very nice.
The prices though are quite high for Italy. You can eat a dish of fish with cooked potatos and a latte machiatto with 15 euro during the lunch time. Taking into consideration that a small portion of pizza costs as much as a whole pizza in other places, it might be considered a premium location.
If you are looking for very good bread or a place where you can enjoy the athmosphere and not only the food, Princi is a good place.

“Excellent brioche & cafe”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

Princi is one of Milan's premium bakeries 'also now in London' and sells excellent pasteries, sandwiches and pizza by the kilo to take away or eat out in. A good stop of point for a snack or coffee, and beautiful surroundings, but can get really busy because it's local popularity. (pizza can be expensive when you order by the kilo)
