It's with great pleasure that I strongly reccomend this place: I've been here 6 years ago last time and I come back last night. Well nothing has changed. It's always an excellent place, great food and very very good service. well done!!!!

“Cramped place with average food and service at rather high prices”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2013

I reserved a table for two for a colleague and me. Based on reviews I was expecting a very good if not excellent experience.

First impression: very cramped place. The table for two was not a seperate table, but 2 places on row of tables put together. That makes a comfortable conversation rather difficult and whenever the waiter is serving the person next to you it means you have his elbow in your face.

The menu: the list of dishes on the menu is long and varied, which makes one fear for the freshness of the ingredients. Fresh vegetables are hard to find.
Despite the extensive menu and winelist there is no beer on tap at all and the choice of bottled beer is between 2 (two!) types - one of which is Heineken. I mean, come on!

We chose the tagliata and coteletta with french fries which was good (although the portions were not abundant and the french fries were too dry) but no vegetables or salad on the side.

We ended up paying 35 euros each, which even in Milan is too much for what we got.

“Ordinary”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

Food was pretty ordinary and expensive for what we ate

Fillet is definitely not their forte !

For starters we had maZorella and it was normal, not worth the money we spent

I was a little disappointed with the overall experience

“Great steak restaurant in Milan”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2013 via mobile

Delicious tagliata and bruschetta. Liked the toscanelli beans and, of course, the Antinori Chianti Classico was lovely. A good recommendation from a friend. Would go back. Just under 100 euros for two

“Fantastic Fiorentina steaks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2013

The food prepared is Tuscany style country cooking. The food is served without a lot of "frills", but great preparation and raw materials make this memorable. The best steak I have had outside of Houston, TX.
