We stayed here 17/19th May 2013, and overall had a very good experience. We travelled from Bergamo airport and used Terravision coaches to get to the Milano Stazione Centrale - and from there, the hotel was easy to find and only about 5 minutes slow walk. The hotel is located near to Repubblica metro station (about 2 minutes walk) and from this it is really easy to get into the middle of Milan. Top marks for location. The hotel was also reasonably priced on the hotel comparison sites, and came with a good breakfast including cereal, bread, yoghurt, fruit, eggs, bacon, pastries, cake and fruit juices - we enjoyed this and it was all good quality.

The rooms were clean and, though minimally decorated, spotlessly clean and all of the fixtures and fittings were of a high quality, it was easy to see. The standard room shower was excellent, large and hot. A good selection of wash products also. TV had lots of channels.

The hotel did what we asked of it, given we were using it as a base to seee Milan on a weekend break, the only issue I would have with it was that there was a slight hum in the room from the electric box on our second night, and on checking out the hotel said we had to pay a tourist tax - this was not well advertised but be expected to pay 4 Euro per person per night - this was not a problem, but it is not well advertised and may just increase the cost of some peoples stay to a level that is not acceptable.

Overall, a good little find, we would stay here again for the location and room cleanliness.

The hotel is located at walking distance from the main train station and Piazza Repubblica + Quartiere della Moda.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. Forniture is quite out-dated, but ok.
Generous breakfast for pastry lovers - not so furnished for gluten intolerant people.
Staff at your disposal at the reception for any need.
I recommend the hotel.

Picked the hotel from the internet as it was near to the train station (for buses to and from Malpensa). Despite being near the main station and in a business area the surroundings are reasonable with decent cafes and restaurants open at weekends. A metro station is 2 minutes away giving easy access to the main historic centre. Hotel is fine and reasonably priced for a 4 star. Rooms not overly big but as you only need them to sleep in not an issue. We arrived before mid-day but they had rooms ready and so we could leave our stuff in our rooms. Unexpected "local taxes" when we checked out.

In booking this hotel our primary criteria was availability of wifi. While it was free it was available for only two hours and we needed to get down for another password. Wifi did not work in the room. The first day we were told system was down. The second day there was no change either and we were told that they will look into it tomorrow. Too late we only stayed two nights.
Our room was stifling hot, when queried how to turn air conditioner on we're told that in Italy no hotels have air conditioning before June. Hard to believe that as we have just come from other hotel where air conditioning was available.
Eventually after inspecting the room staff advised that the heating was on, but they don't know how to turn it off. Not good enough.
Other than this inconvenience which has impacted on our enjoyment, the hotel is nice, rooms clean and staff very helpful but unable to resolve our issue.

Stayed here with a friend just a couple of nights ago.
The positive things about this hotel are the location (very close to Milano Centrale) and the breakfast.

However, the negative here easily overshadows the positive.

For once, Wi-Fi doesn't work in the rooms, despite them advertising to the contrary. After trying four (!) different devices, failing each and every single one of them, my friend went to the front desk to seek some help on the matter. The night shift receptionist behaved rather rudely, almost completely ignoring the problem as well as my friend.

Then, the receptionist mentioned that Wi-Fi is known to not be "always working" in the rooms. Which begs the question: if it's a known problem, why isn't it fixed?

The next morning, you could see a bunch of people sitting in the lobby with their mobile devices. None of them got Wi-Fi working in their rooms.

Next up, air conditioning. The hotel advertises itself for having air conditioning in the room. What they neglect to mention is that cooling season starts in June: before June, only heat is available. Therefore, if you are very sensitive to hot weather and happen to arrive before June when weather is somewhat warm, you're well out of luck.

As I am not a big fan of hotels providing misleading information about their facilities, I strongly advise against staying in this hotel.
