The two of us went for lunch and ordered a la carte. Primi Piatti of Prawns, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes al forno was excellent. For secondi I ordered the osso buco as this is a milanese speciality and I was curious to try. It came with a safrron risotto and was very good. My wife had the scampi for primi piatta and tortellini fo the secondi, all good. We selected a 2010 Chianti Peppoli, which is a blended sangiovese (with merlot & syrah I think) - very drinkable. The proprietor delivered two of his own make limoncello, which rounded off a very enjoyable lunch.
We were seated at the front and had a pleasant view of Largo Maria Callas.
