We stayed here for three nights in mid September leading up to Milan fashion week. Overall our stay was comfortable, complimentary breakfast was excellent (plentiful and good variety), and front desk service was excellent. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant the first night as we arrived late - overall the food was quite good and service was excellent. We got complementary Wifi (which seemed a bit slow) but understand there is usually an extra charge.

We were upgraded to a room on what was identified as the Executive Floor so don’t know how our room compared with rooms on other floors. Our room was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of storage space. Television was defective but didn’t use it much.

Our only major complaint was the construction. The view from our windows was obstructed by scaffolding and there seemed to be ongoing construction on the adjacent building that spilled over onto the walkway into the hotel. We had great difficulty finding the hotel on the first night as we walked from the train station - street signage is poor and the address is not labelled.

Close proximity to the train station and subway is a definite plus - four subway stops from the Duomo. Most other guests seemed to be business travellers

Room Tip: Due to construction activities, ask for a room with a view unobstructed by scaffolding

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The room was very large with a sofa in the sitting area, the bed was comfortable, a walk-in closet, the Wi-Fi in the room worked, the location - near the central train station and a metro stop - and the staff were very pleasant. But, for a 4-star hotel we were very surprised to see that apparently it had not been updated since (I guess) the 1970s and was desperately in need of aid. The ceiling plaster in our room entry way and bath was cracked and stained, the furniture outdated, the TV was old, and the interior window frames were in disrepair. And this was on the so-called Executive Level.

We were only her 1 night but it was a great stay. We had a king size bed that was very comfy. The room and bath were clean so no complaints. We had an early train the next morning, so they packed us a breakfast to. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay there again.

we had booked the quadruple room and firstly we were not told that 2 of the beds wld be a sofabed which was very unsturdy looking . secondly we had not been told that the hotel was closing down on our last nite there. breakfast in the morning was til ten am but if u were unlucky enough to go around 9 am everything would be finished!! if the hotel is unable to refill the buffet and unable to provide the same bfast for all the guests thy shld have offered a limited items ala carte instead. the first day thr was only bread left when we reachd the bfast room, the second day we got in earlier to see tht thr were yoghurts, diff types of croissants n cheeses on display all of which ran out in less than an hour!!! pl were pushing like it was a crazy fishmarket and rightfully so I realizd as if u weren't quick enough u wouldn't get any food. even the plates<glasses n cutlery ran out. whn thy finally managd to bring out a couple of more plates those too had been hurriedly washed n were dirty with egg smears :(
if the hotel was unequipped n unable to deal with such large nmbrs of ppl thy shld have simply closed earlier>we paid good money for our room but were made to feel like we weer orphans I a free kitchen n had to fight for our rations
the front desk staff was also highly unprofessional and not courteous at all. when I asked for directions to the train station which was just round the corner thy were clueless and didn't even know the name of the street on which the hotel was located.
unbelievably bad service! good thing thy shut down
also unknown to us the station area was rather rough tramps sleeping on the roads so we felt unsafe walking

If you are travelling to or out of Milano Centrale, this is a place that is a mere 4 minute walk from the station entrance and that will give you excellent value for money to boot. We stayed in a family room, which is actually a junior suite, and was pleasantly surprised by the ample space and generous mounds of towels - a common weak point in hotels... Friendly and efficient staff at the front desk made check in/out less of a bore than it often can be. Tramway lines pass only 50 m from the door, and metro stops (Centrale and Repubblica) just a few minutes' walk away.

On the downside: the place IS in dire need of a renovation, the breakfast is somewhat dull, and the neighbourhood rather lifeless and deserted.

This hotel is going to be renovated im July and August 2013 otherwise the Una Hotel Century is in desperate need of renovation from top to bottom. I'd stayed at 14th floor, Executive. Floor: The room was very large but the decoration and furnishings was below standards. There was cracks on the walls of the room, perhaps superficial ones but ıt was annoying nonetheless. The hotel lifts made strange sounds and caused a concern; the hotel breakfast was poor. The room cleaning wasn't a through one. It ıs far away from the Duomo and centre but very close to the Milan Central Station.

The hotel is in walking distance from Milano centrale. Quite new. Rooms are really big, which is very rear. I paid EUR 100 for 35-40 sq meters room. But you should add EUR 30 for round trip to city center.
