My daughter & I chose the hotel Una primarily for its location. Close to Centrale Stazione and easy to pinpoint from its proximity to Pirelli Tower it is ideal for those with poor navigational skills! The fact that it stands back from the road in a small courtyard makes it a peaceful spot to return to after a day in the busy streets of the city. Our suites on the 11th floor were, as requested, close to each other and were clean, airy and spacious. We both liked their layout and the dual aspect windows with shutters. We understand that the hotel intends to refurbish the rooms in the near future.
The reception staff had excellent English and our check-in was swift & friendly.
Ideally situated for access to all forms of transport, we also found several good restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel. We never felt threatened walking in the surrounding neighbourhood even in the evening.
The buffet breakfast was ample and the small restaurant/lounge bar is a nice spot in which to enjoy well priced aperitifs.
The only negative points we found were the lack of free wifi & the lifts which struggled to cope at peak periods. We also could not find a bedside plug point which would have been handy for a mobile phone alarm clock.
We would recommend the hotel and would use it again. More
