The UNA Hotel Cenutry appears to have been decorated by ex-Soviet interior designers. The large room is entirely functional with no regard for the space - e.g. the lights are small spots in areas that need flood lighting, both in the main room and bathroom. The TV balances on a precarious stand, the coffee table is a block, the air conditioning struggles a bit. The bath tub drained very slowly, a common problem we saw in Italy. As mentioned elsewhere, only a small chip of soap is provided, not even soft soap like you see in many Italian or German hotels. The pillows were painfully hard. The light-blocking roller shades were very nice and allowed our baby to sleep much later than expected.
The hotel lobby has some sitting areas but there is no bug control going on, and I got bit several times while trying to do some work there. The breakfast is decent, and they had a nice high chair to accommodate the bambina. Walking distance to Central Station (<5 minute walk) and a tram goes by to take you places, also the subway is nearby. In short a good location to base from, but little to say for the hotel itself.More
