When we arrived at the hotel, there was a lady at the reception. She was not so friendly but correct though. A man brought us to our room, he was very kind! The room was okay, but a little bit dusty. The bathroom could be cleaner. But overall, it was okay. The staff at the bar was very friendly and helpful, the drinks were nice and we received crips and nuts for free.
We went to San Siro stadium by foot and later that day we also went to the city centro by metro.
Therefore the location is perfect!
Breakfast was amazing and rich... For 100 euros for a double room, we will certainly go back!

The Antares Hotel Rubens only minutes from the Gambara stop of the red line underground which, in only 8 stops, leads directly to Piazza del Duomo, the historic center of Milan.

Its also easily accessible by motorway from Linate, Bergamo Orio and Malpensa airports, connected by the Malpensa Express to Stazione Cadorna which is only 5 underground stops far from the hotel.

An elegant hotel which features a number of works of art.
Stained glass windows, red velvets, a next-generation bioethanol fireplace , designer furniture such as chairs by Patricia Urquiola, polished chromium tables by Pascal Morgue

The impressive Architectural details of the "Sala delle Nuvole" restaurant located on the fifth floor from where you can enjoy a great view of the city.

Enjoyed the hotel, well placed and very clean.
Breakfast on the top floor is great and there is a great view from the top of the house. good quality hotel, staff very friendly

I stayed here for business. It's not a new hotel but reasonably clean and tidy. It's in the S. Siro neighborhood, not far from the metro station. Breakfast was included in the rate and not bad in terms of choices (although maybe some fresh salad and freshly cut fruit would have been appreciated). In the evening I did try their restaurant which serves OK food, although they only have one waiter working there so it might take a little while to get your dinner.

We stayed for 3 nights as we were attending a game at the San siro. Please don't go to this hotel and stay nearer the city centre nearer the places where the day trips operate from. You may pay extra for the hotel but save money on taxi and metro costs!! You also have somewhere nice to walk and a better choice of restaurants to eat in. We ate in the hotel restaurant and it was of very poor quality. I didnt feel safe walking outside the hotel and would not choose this hotel again!

Dear Sir,
it is my duty to take seriously all critics received, but I definetely do not agree that the area looks not safe to walk around. It is instead a location with many restaurants, shopping streets such as Via Marghera and Corso Vercelli. You probably walked to the Stadium and the surroundings there are simple residential architecture but in 15 years that I run the Hotel, I never had to face any kind of problem referred to annoyance or discomfort felt by Guests when walking to the stadium or shopping around.
An at least 2 nights stay would have maybe provided a wider overall vision and possibly better sensations.
Best regards

I spent 3 weeks in Milan in January/February 2013. The hotel was chosen based on Google and Tripadvisor query. During this stay I experienced very hospital service, both at the desk and the restaurant. Hotel manager was very flexible. Great advantage: delicious breakfasts. Very good choice of cheeses, prosciutto, fruits, hot stuff, cereal etc. with very good coffee. The room was quite small but always clean and quiet. The Wifi internet could work smoother. Location was not the city center but the subway transportation was very convenient: 3 minutes by foot to the nearest station. Also reaching San Siro was possible by foot.
