Stayed here while attending immunology congress at MiCo (from australia). The place is great + friendly and helpful staff. The flea market at the doorstep every sat/tue makes it even better. Supermarket is just accross the road and great selection of eateries nearby. Public transport is withn minutes walking distance. Definitely will be back in by chance visit milan in the future.

Friendly staff throughout, whether it was at check in, breakfast, or just the general friendliness saying hello when we pass by.

The rooms we got were just lovely, 2 out of the 3 in the "imperial suite." These rooms were lavishly swathed in walnut and mahogany! With balconies too. Not sure if all the rooms are quite this nice but wow ours sure were.

There's a neat deal too where for 12€ a night you get Internet and unlimited minibar. The minibar isn't stocked with expensive things of course to keep this deal feasible, but you get 2 cokes, 2 beers, 2 pellegrinos, 2 still waters and more so it's worth it.

Don't have any complaints about this place really, and I don't see how anyone could!

Everything is wonderful in this hotel. Been there two times and will be going back! The staff at the front desk are very kind and helpful. The rooms are very clean and equiped. The breakfast buffet is also very satisfying and the ladies working there are the kindest.

Our arrival at the hotel couldn't have been better. We took the fantastic express train to Cadorna from the airport and took a 2 minute train to Domodossola station which was a nice 10 minute stroll from the hotel. I don't understand the complaints from other reviewers about the location. The hotel is 5 minutes from bus and tram connections into the city. Furthermore, the neighbourhood is well served with cafes, restaurants, boutiques and a fantastic Esselungha supermarket directly opposite. If you want the Duomo and designer shops within a 5 minute walk then you should be prepared to dig a bit deeper into your pockets.

Check-in was very efficient and the friendly receptionist gave us all the information we could have wished for. We arrived 5 hours before the official check-in time and they locked our bags in a safe place without any fuss. We were provided with good maps and informed about public transport options.

The room was clean and although it had obviously been renovated in the past few months, it still had charm and wasn't at all like those typical sterile chain hotels which seem to dominate the market nowadays.

For breakfast, there was a wide range of cooked meats, bread, cheese, cakes, cereal and fruit to fill you up for a good day's sightseeing. There were also scrambled eggs, bacon and some strange sausages.

A business trip for two days involving a conference at the hotel. Firstly general telephone signals were poor throughout the hotel and almost non-existent in the conference rooms. Secondly hotel wifi was generally weak throughout hotel. Thirdly breakfast was average to be kind, coffee was terrible. Prices for drinks were very high and on occasions led me to suspect that the decimal point was in the wrong place. Room was small, clean yes, tiniest bar of soap you will ever see.
Service average. Views from the rooms were not exotic at all.

I must admit when I won this hotel bidding on Priceline I didn't want to stay. I felt it was too far from Milano Centrale and too hard to get there. We had suitcases. I wished I had just booked a hotel near the station. Oh! too much hassle, I thought.

So... we arrived mid Saturday morning, grabbed a cab, nice driver, used the metre and arrived 12 minutes later via a side street at the hotel, cost 12 euro.

This is a four star hotel, not overly impressive in the entry, however the checkin staff were very nice and very efficient and gave us lots of info including easy city access via tram.

Our room was attractive with good quality furnishings, nice lamps, good bedding, well appointed bathroom, strong hot shower and well lit bathroom.

The reason we arrived by side street is that this area on Saturdays hosts one of the most popular "upmarket" street markets in Milano. On the way to the tram into the city we bought lovely linen scarves, good quality costume jewelry along with the well dressed locals. There were leather handbags and shoes and cashmere tops and clothing.... etc, I could have bought lots however we already had a little too much luggage!

Our tram stop was only a short walk from the hotel and the ride into central Milano was an easy 15 minutes, we passed many historical buildings stopping at La Scala,The Duomo and the famous shopping mall Galleria Vittorio Emanuele.

Back at our hotel the street market was gone by 8pm and it was a nice residential area.We ate well at a local eatery of which there are lots.

The "American style" buffet breakfast in the morning was included in the price and was extremely good with a selection of hot and cold food, yoghurts, pastries. No good for dieters!

We only stayed one night as we were short on time in Milan. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus from the Metro station nearby.

I would definately recommend this hotel. Definately quality and value. I would certainly stay again.
