Hilton is taking care of the minimun details, charging you for everything. The automatic minibar (Water 5?) internet 20?, no breakfast.
Since we arrived the minimum was the worst, the bell boy told us to park the car and bring the bags.
Nothing was convinient or charming, looks like a poor motel.
At Least the hotel was clean, quiet and well located.

Thank OutBrasil

Dear OutBrasil,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on TripAdvisor.

I am extremely concerned to read your disappointing experience with us and I am very sorry that your expectations were not met.

We actually have rates with breakfast included, free wi-fi connection in all public areas and ongoing water promotion at the desk.

Hoping to welcome you back in order to restore your confidence in us, I would suggest you to book directly through our reservation office in Milan for the best treatment.

Yours Sincerely,
Ariane Sacchi

We stayed at the Hilton Milan last week on our short Milan trip.
The hotel is not something you haven't seen before as the building is a bit outdated. The location is off the center but is conveniently close to the Central Station and practically within walking distance to main streets, bars, clubs etc. Subway station is nearby in case you prefer this way of getting around.
The big plus is the breakfast - definitely Hilton style - rich buffet with plenty of variety for any taste and preference. Fresh & delicious! Also I have to mention the staff at the Front Desk who were very friendly with a genuine smile and useful tips. Special "Thanks" to the concierge Antonio who spent extra time giving us advice on shopping etc.
Would stay there again.

I had to change rooms 3 times. They finally gave me a room 3 levels below what I paid, but with heat and TV that worked. As a compromise, the manager comped my water from the mini-bar. The staff at this hotel are either disinterested or under 25. The senior staff will not assist clients and the young ones, try as they may, have no clue.
Be aware that non-smoking rooms in this hotel likely allow any smoking other than crack. The place reaks to the high heavens and the AC does not function. TVs work intermittently at best. Count on malfunctioning telephones as well.

Room Tip: close to central station. However, airport trains queue primarily from north station. There are better values than this dump.

This hotel is quite centrally located from both Linate and Malpensa airport with an average transfer time of about 20 minutes. Cab cost us around 25 Euros single.
The hotel seems to be stuck in a rather depressed area. The only thing the hotel has within 5 minutes walking that actually has some interest is their amazing train station. (actually amazing no sarcasm) great architecture!!
Check in was quite speedy and our room was very clean, spacious and overall lovely. The concierge was very helpful and often told us not to stay out too late as the area can be unsafe (mini Brooklyn)
There is not much going for this hotel - no spa or swimming pool. There is a train station within 5 minutes walk and you will find traveling on the trains probably the most convenient ways of traveling through Milan (cheaper than a cab!!). Walking to the train station you will find Nigerians and Indian hawkers trying to sell you rc helicopters and sunshades. We just ignored them and walked on. The most happening place is called Duomo where you will find every designer shop under the sun and also tonnes of bars and restaurants.Overall this hotel is ok if you are wanting a place to sleep. On the return journey to the airport i booked the Malpensa express train tot he airport which cost me 8 Euros. Definetly cheaper than talking a cab.

The hotel is a reasonable choice for a short business trip to Milan. The hotel has a good level of service, but fairly standard rooms. The hotel is located close to the central train station, but that is not a particularly central nor interesting neighborhood.
The fitness room is small, but functional and is conveniently open 24 hours a day. The 30€ breakfast buffet is ridiculously expensive as is the 20€ internet connection.
