I spent one night at the Mediolanum and am more than satisfied with my experience. Location is unbeatable, just five minutes walk from Central Station and three from Buenos Aires. Friendly staff in all departments.
Room was of a reasonable size for Milan’s standards, bathroom more on the small side, but with a never seen before (and much appreciated) paper band around the shower curtain reading that it had been thoroughly washed before my arrival.
Breakfast is served in the basement in a brightly lit and well-decorated room. There is a nice choice of cakes.
Funny the colour therapy available in the room.

We stayed here for 1 night and chose this due to its proximity to the station. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff were very nice. The location was convenient for us but is nothing special, and whilst there are some nice touches in the rooms (the blue lighting is fun) it doesn't merit the price tag. Negatives - the lift is tiny-too small really for two people with luggage, WiFi is not very good, the water pressure isn't great and in our non-smoking room the pillows smelt faintly of cigarette smoke. None of these are major things, but overall we didn't feel it was value for money, perhaps Milan is just a really expensive city. On the plus side the staff were very nice and the breakfast selection was excellent, lovely cappucinos.

Stayed three nights, really comfortable room and big bathroom, but bad water pressure in the shower and the wi fi was terrible never seemed to work. Breakfast was good, nice selection, helpful and friendly staff, but the guys on the front desk not that friendly.

We stayed in this hotel for the 5th time. Every time we tried to find something different but it all ended with this hotel. It is situated close to central station, it takes about 5 min to get there. Around the hotel there are some nice restaurant such as Azzure grill and Sabatini. The rooms are clean, stuff is very friendly. The hotel has a free wi fi but the quality is not so good. To get to the center of the city it takes about 20 min by foot. Definitely will recommend this hotel and stay there once again!

+: the hotel is nice, 5 min walking from Milano Centrale, easy to find. arrived about 10 am, were checked-in without any problems. room 110 was spacious with really big bed. quite clean. with hair drier. wi-fi was free. the breakfast was excellent - everything we needed for breakfast: cereals, friut, cold cuts, bakery, eggs, scrambled eggs, yoghurts... we were very glad to stay here. opposite the hotel there was a nice pizzeria.
-: windows! although the room faced the quiet street it was VERY noisy - random cars, rubish trucks in the early morning, even the sound of women's heels like the windows were open. shutters didn't help.
stayed here for my birthday - NOBODY from the hotel stuff didn't even pay ANY attention to it although they collected my passport for registration - no any treatment like fruit basket or bottle of wine. was disappointed.
