“Really a perfect hotel !”
Reviewed December 4, 2009

You may not know this but I'm a very tough judge of hotels. And in Europe, standards of quality are not the same as the ones in the North America. But the Principe Di Savoia is an exception: it really warrants its 5 stars. All of them! The service is excellent. The rooms are large, confortable and most important of all quiet. The bathrooms are spacious and the shower strong (those who have experienced european weak showers know what I mean).

Now, this perfection has a price but the extra euros are worth it. The restaurant has prices out of this world (a cofee at 8 euros anyone?) but you don't have to have breakfast there: Milan has plenty of nice coffee shops. The parking is also quite pricey but that's life in Europe.

I looked around and to me the Principe is the number one choice in Milan.

This is definitely one of the most beautiful and luxurious hotels we have stayed!!! The only problem for us was the location, not very nice area and not right in the center...

stayed here to "bookend" a visit to the north of Italy. 2 rooms each stay, each one was fantastic...roomy, relaxing, elegant but not stuffy. Public spaces are great. Service is spectacular. old world charm with modern convenience. liked the location, away from the center (not far), but right next to a metro stop and walking distance to centrale.

Principe di Savoia is one of the best Hotels I've ever tried. Great service, nice staff, very good food and wonderful spa at the 10th floor with an amazing view on the city.
The only drawback is the location, not in the historic centre of Milan and a bit noisy during the night.

I booked the Principe Di Savoia through Booking.com and got a good deal with breakfast included for 2 nights. When we arrived at the hotel, we were absolutely amazed by how beautiful and grand the hotel was. The staff were polite and welcoming and showed us to our room which had been upgraded with no extra charge. We stayed in a deluxe premium room which was beautifully furnished and spacious. We ate in the restaurant on one of the nights and throughly enjoyed the meal. The hotel is expensive for drinks and food but it is worth the money to be in the surroundings of the hotel. If you can get breakfast included it is worth it as the cheapest breakfast is 37 euro- but very nice all the same. The club 10 leisure facilities on the top floor are a must- very relaxing and gorgeous views over the city. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we both felt that this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Overall, I had an excellent experience and stay at the beautiful and elegant Hotel Principe Di Savoia in Milan. The service provided was very good and professional, with helpful and friendly staff. The room itself was clean and in very good condition, and the price was reasonable for what you received (cheaper when booked online). The food and the service at the restaurant was very good, but a touch on the pricey side. The pool, gym and steam/sauna rooms were pleasant to use too.
The Hotel's location is not too far from the main shopping area and boutiques, about 15minutes by car. There is a regular complimentary hotel limousine to take guests to three locations: Piazza Scala, Montenapoleone and Della Spiga. This runs from the morning to about early evening. There are also taxis outside, as well as a metro and tram service very close by.
All in all, I was very happy to stay at the Hotel and recommend it.

I have been there with my wife in the honeymoon on August 2009. As soon as we reached there, staff at reception were friendly and they warmly greet us, when I told them that we are honeymooners they sent us a three-layers dish of biscuits, dried fruits and wafers with champaign bottle. The suite was so comfortable and quite. Clean and I liked the large bathroom they have. The classical interior was fantastic and the service was nice.
The guy in the travel desk was frown, however, he was cooperative!
