Simple food, no real menu, two choices, either vegetarian or meat eaten with your fingers just like you would in Eritrea. The Injera was a little dissapointing, other than that the food was very good. Service, overall atmosphere and price was more than acceptable. Worth a visit if you want to try something different.

We were in Milan for a medical congress in September & wanted to go to dinner one night. Immediately went to Trip Advisor and saw reviews for Warsa. Asked the concierge about the restaurant and he looked at us like we grew another head. "But it is NOT Italian!" he exclaimed. He then gave us directions, which were wrong. But after following a map and asking a lot of people on the street, we found Warsa. It is on a side street with a number of other African restaurants. We went in and were seated at a low table, which was not going to be conducive to my friend's knees. So they moved us to a regular table. A very pleasant African gentleman came over and told us what we would eat. No choices except meat (beef) pies before as an appetizer if we wanted them. We said sure, since we were there on an adventure. Although you will have MORE than enough food without them, DON'T pass up these fantastic appetizers! The spices and taste were outstanding! The main meal is typical Ethipoian fare. No silverware. Tear off a piece of the never ending marvelous bread and dig in. Then when you are completely stuffed, they bring the chicken dish!!! After dinner do not skip the tea. For the 4 of us it was 100 Euros plus 8 Euro cover charge. (Yes there is a cover charge that went fom 2 to 4 Euros in EVERY restaurant in Milan. I guess this makes up for no tipping). But the food was absolutely the absolute best Ethiopian food any of us ever had ANYPLACE in the world. No, it isn't Italian, but I would not miss this fantastic restaurant if you are in Milan!

It's a nice place if you want to eat some eastern african food. The owner is nice and the service is good. The prices are good and it's quite convenient to reach by metro. I like it and I go whenever I have the chance

I have already taste an african/ethiopian restaurant in Bruxelles but this tiny tiny restaurant surpised me most of all because of its forniture. All tables and chairs are from Africa and mask and other stuff hanged on the wall create a nice atmosphere! The food is gorgeous, you can share a big plate full of meet and vegetables and....eat with you hands only!

Go and try this five sense experience!
